  1. First time watching MLS on on Apple TV (DC United match was free to watch and Apple TV is a preset app on my Roku). Quality seems decent. Then again, I've gotten used to their production via the highlights on YouTube. If DC United is playing in another free match this season I'll definitely tune in again.

Glad to see mine is still in the top 10. But man there's some interesting options to say the least.

Yours is good! I must admit though my favorite of the 10 submissions is the one by Bpodger. Are all of these dog supposed to be mastiffs? Does the Dawg Pound have a specific breed they represent themselves with?

I’m more surprised that they didn’t play this at Philadelphia Union’s stadium. Feels like it would be more successful there.

There's been HBCU classic games played in NJ (Giants Stadiums then Metlife) for decades. They're just playing in a smaller stadium now.

The Cardinals just copied the Tarheels jerseys from the early 2000's.Rumors are that UNC is going back to the Ronald Curry era jerseys, so just an updated template for these:

OT: I would love to see those UNC jerseys with the argyle pattern inside the white part of the stripes.

I personally think the Gamblers will be rebranded and moved to a different market ahead of season 3 for that reason. (My money is on either Tulsa as a revived "Oklahoma Outlaws", or a revival of the Tampa Bay Bandits if they can get a deal to play at Raymond James field), but I listed them here to illustrate the point. But the others do have realistic venue options:

Are they dead set on having legacy clubs? Why not come up with new names?

Doubt most of those are actually still in the league. Where are they gonna play? Are they gonna be able to put the Gamblers in Houston with the Roughnecks already there?

Realistically the Roughnecks and Gamblers should be able to co-exist in Houston since the two leagues have little overlap. I'm sure the University of Houston would accept rent from both leagues to use their stadium.

  7. From what I've been told over the years, Red Bull Arena flat won't allow American football to played there. They're okay with rugby and lacrosse games on their grass, though 🤷🏾‍♂️

Maybe they need to consider "relocating" the northeast teams. I'm pretty sure UConn's stadium sits empty for the most part this time of year outside of the NCAA lacrosse finals and some random US soccer matches. Also think not much is going on at the Rhinos old stadium in Rochester, NY. Do the USFL absolutely have to represent Philly and Jersey?

Birmingham fnas are also not showing up for the Breakers.

So nothing's changed from last season? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Last year games in Birmingham not featuring the Stallions were practically empty. With the exception of days when the Stallions played in the second game. Fans would start trickling in the second half of the first game.
