Don't quote me, but in the chat of one of the games on Youtube, it was said the deal with Stadium backfired and they ended it. Guess it wasn't up to their standards or something with what Stadium was willing to do for the games/league.
No clue if that's accurate, but that's what was said.
Haven't the Bally's games been moved to Youtube as well?
SN: Did anybody else catch the Omaha/San Diego game? The Supernovas have a local TV partner. The lady commentating went on a mini rant about the University of Oregon's floor (with the forest design) and being distracted by Oregon player's buttcheeks due to how short they wear their shorts.
SN2: PVF to Portland, Oregon in the future? Seems like Portland is the type of city that would really embrace this league.

Is there a functional reason that they have to be black?
It's a league color?

The one thing I really like about the Commanders current set are the gold numbers on the burgundy jersey. Bothered me for the longest the team's colors were burgundy and gold, but gold was limited to being an accent color for most of my life. Going forward any burgundy jerseys they have going forward should have gold numbers. Gold pants are a must to be paired with them though.

Here's a video from the NCAA about the basic libero rules. I'm not 100% sure, but I doubt the PVF changed any of the college rules.
From what I can tell the league's rules are closer to international competition and overseas pro volleyball than college

New to the sport. What's a libero?
Quoteplayer on an indoor volleyball team who serves as a defensive specialist and is not allowed to serve or rotate to the front line. The libero wears a different colour jersey from the rest of the team and is thus easily recognizable. There are several other unique rules regarding the position.
In the picture in my last post the player in red is the libero for the team in white.

Good looking game. Omaha in white (liberos in red/purple), San Diego in blue (liberos in yellow).

That said, strictly on aesthetics, I don't want two similarly dressed teams facing each other on the court, either, and it shouldn't be that tough an ask in a seven-team league.
Hopefully we don't end up with another matchup of similar uniforms tonight with San Diego vs Omaha. Based on games played so far and promotional material San Diego has 2 light colored jerseys (white and yellow) and 1 dark jersey (royal blue), while Omaha has 2 dark jerseys (red and navy blue) and a white jersey.
Worse case scenario, both teams decided to wear white. Even potential royal blue vs navy blue, or yellow vs white matchups have enough contrast so fans shouldn't have to wonder which team is which. There shouldn't be a repeat of the Fury/Rise and Mojo/Vibe games based on the possible jersey matchups.
Personally hoping to see yellow vs red tonight

Another PVF game with little contrast between the teams
Atlanta in light gray sleeveless jerseys (libero in black).
San Diego in white long sleeve jerseys (libero in royal blue). On top of that San Diego's jerseys have yellow numbers. Couldn't find any in game photos yet, but these are the jerseys.

I can't believe that the standardized captaincy patch has persisted since 2007
Never been a fan of it.

I can hear Division 2 college football fans raging right now lol. The D2 national championship was at Children's Mercy Park for a while until SKC put an end to it. I'm of the belief SKC pulled some sort of loophole to end the D2 title games before the original end of contract. I recall NCAA having to scramble to find a replacement venue and ultimately lucked out with one of those big high school district stadiums in Texas.

One of PVF's 2025 expansion teams has been given an identity. Next year Indy Ignite joins the fray.

The Indianapolis 2025 expansion team has a name...say hello to the Indy Ignite.
I don't like it, but it's better than what LOVB would have named a team

Still no leaks from Chicago Fire? Aren't they expected to return to red primary kits?

Starting at the same time as Year Two of PVF.
Wait. Season 2 of PVF will begin in November? It was my understanding the LOVB season would begin in November and PVF season 2 starting in January 2025. Hell, even the PVF expansion teams have been reported as entering the league in 2025.

Best quality photo I could find showing both team's jerseys/

Hmm. Didn't notice that. Odd

Good color contrast tonight. Orlando in sleeveless sky blue jerseys (libero in white) vs Atlanta in long sleeve red jerseys (libero in white).

Why is Atlanta playing twice opening week and San Diego and Vegas aren't playing at all?
They had to get creative with the schedule with an odd number of teams?
