This is the best uniform that the Chargers have ever worn:
That's not a unpopular opinion. That uniform combo recives positive feedback all the time.
That's true, it's just that many people don't like the navy trim and the number font.

I may have said this before but I actually like the first version of the Islanders RBK jerseys.
I didn't mind them either, but I like the retros much better. Really, the only thing I'd change to them would be to get rid of the orange sleeves.
-
I think the Wolves would sooner go indy than take on a Calgary affiliation.
Fun fact: AHL teams do not have to have an NHL parent.
Then how the hell would the NHL team call up players?
-
Isn't every opinion an unpopular one since they're very specific and come from one out of the billions of people on this planet?
Not really.
An unpopular opinion is one that is the opposite of the general consensus of something.

here is an unpopular opinion. i think the steelers uniforms are terrible. the sleeve strips are huge, the font sucks, an update(but not a crazy change) is in order. I'd drop the sleeve stripes to 3, and change to a font(not athletic block font but something different, something "tough" like steel). I would maybe switch the pants up a little as well.
I agree with you, they are desperate for an update.

Inspired by the once-worn thread...
The Packers should use this shade of gold.
Judging by this one pic, I completely agree.
It was said by someone back when he first posted it, but I'll say it again: too many teams have switched from athletic gold to metallic gold. Just look at teams like the Brewers, Penguins, Stars, and Rams. Of those teams, only the Brewers was an upgrade, IMO. The Stars was a lateral move, and the Penguins and Rams were downgrades.

Don't know how much these are disliked, but I love this look for the Titans.
I find when the jersey and pants are the same color (except black and white), they look too much like pajamas.

There was a poster on here who actually worked with Reebok that would occasionally post 50% off codes that would work for a day or two on their site.
I only own one modern authentic jersey (Eagles Brian Dawkins bought in 2008) and it cost like $130 directly from Reebok.
Anyone here work for Nike?

Like Brass said, the inside looks like absolute but the outside looks rather good aside from the snags and loose threads.

If you don't know how to post, please don't.
He shouldn't be posting at all, he's looooooogodud.

Someone said they were at a game and said 75% of the jerseys were fake, I'd say that # isn't far off. I was a packers game last Sunday and I can say for certain atleast 50% were fake. And this is coming from someone who isn't to in depth with jerseys. But I know what a fake one looks like and some of these were bad. Teal green numbers, bad stiching, ect.
I find it's really bad at the Rogers Centre. I'm so sick of seeing the terrible Blue Jays fakes. The number font is wrong (they use the old split-letter font, not the new one), the letters in the "Blue Jays" wordmark are much taller than the real ones, and they are all made of the "cool base" material (the Blue Jays don't wear cool base).

Is it just me, or is the site running extremely slowly?

All I'm saying is that the fake trade exists because the price of the real thing is very high, and people cant or wont pay the prices. If Nike or whoever the manufacturer is wanted to end the trade in fakes the simplest and most effective solution would be to make the legitimate product more affordable, but right now they clearly feel the losses they are incurring at the hands of the fake trade are not that great or dont warrant that action.
Well that's the thing. This thread is full of people saying "I went to a *insert team here* game, and 75% of people were wearing knockoffs." I find those stories to be suspect. At the very least I think the person telling the story is remembering way more fakes then they actually saw.
I say this because it all comes back to economics. Teams, leagues, manufacturers? They all, at the end of the day, exist to make money. If "75%" (or any other shocking large percentage) of a team's fans were buying fakes then the teams and manufacturers would take notice. Sure, Nike likes getting $300 per authentic jersey sold, but if the choices are "lower the price and sell the product" or "keep prices where they are and don't" then they're going to lower their prices. Given that prices for jerseys are still up there, I'm inclined to believe that the vast majority of fans are still willing to pay those high prices for the real deal. Which means, from an economic standpoint, prices are not to high. Maybe we're getting there with Nike's NFL prices, but we're not there yet.
As for "well prices are so high that's why fakes exist," well prices will always be to high for someone. If Nike announced they were dropping the price of authentics down to $75 (a 75% price cut) you would still have people complaining about how they "don't have $75 to spend on a jersey." And those people will use that "high" price of $75 to justify buying a fake for $40.
You do make a good point, however, if you dropped the prices of jerseys, the amount of fakes would go down dramatically. Would there still be people wearing fakes? Of course, but there will be far less of them.

Did the mobile site get a new layout?

I wasn't sure where to post this but does anyone know of a good site (other than eBay) where I can get new, pre-edge replica jerseys for relatively cheap. Thanks in advance.

This is one that's going to get me shot. I hate the colours the Penguins use now, but switching to Sunday Gold isn't gonna make me happy. Yes-siree, I miss the old navy and powder colour scheme as a full time deal. Bringing it back in segments works, but just make it official again. Also, bring back Robo-Pen.
I love the navy and powder blue for the Pens, but I've come to accept that it isn't realistically going to be used full time.

This one I know is unpopular: the LeBron-era Cavaliers set wasn't all that good, and their current set is they best they've ever worn.
I liked the LeBron era set, but I like the current set better. The wine and athletic gold looks stunning.
-
The Florida Panthers powder blue 3rd was actually a great sweater
That said, their current set isn't as horrible as most people purport it to be.
It wasn't a bad jersey at all, it just had copycat written all over it. Also, their current set is fine, it could just be better.
-
Are they doing like a tour of California or some crap? Dodgers game, visited Honda Center and Arco.... Whats the point?
They're trying to impress McKayla

^ Apart from the issues with the accuracy of the logo, it looks like it was photoshopped into the jersey. I have my doubts as to whether the product is exactly like what is shown in the picture. Whether the actual thing is better or worse than what is shown, who knows.
My first thought as well, it's not even an real picture.
It looks like it was done in Paint.
