  1. That red helmet would look awesome with the navy or Color Rush navy jersey. But I presume it will be paired with the battle red jersey and white pants and they'll look just like the Chiefs. I hate this new rule outside of throwback uniforms. Color balance  will likely continue to be ruined.

And against the Eagles again. Really? At least it's not against the Colts for a third straight season.

As fan most for their P/W/P combo (Socks need a redo!), I only forsee White Jerseys Vikings in Weeks 9 @ WASH, 14 @ Det, 17 @ GB, & maybe 18 @ CHI.

At Philly Week 2 will be a white game. I think Week 10 could be a throwback game for Buffalo, but they could also wear blue. They wore white vs. Minnesota last meeting in 2014, so hopefully it's blue.

Wk 4 vs Miami (TNF) - Orange jersey/white pants. Bengals typically wear orange for one of the October home games. I considered the Atlanta game in Wk7 but I'll go with Wk4 since it's a primetime game.

Wk 13 vs KC - Orange jersey/black pants

Wk 17 vs Buffalo (MNF) - Orange jersey/black pants

You may have nailed all three orange jersey games. I just hope it’s against some other teams. We’ve already seen the orange against all of those teams in recent seasons. (MIA 2018), (KC 2015,2021), BUF (2017). They wore orange against Carolina in 2014 too, so I guess there isn’t much left besides ATL and BAL on their schedule in terms of new possibilities. And as you said, they always wear black against the Ravens for some reason.

  4. What does a black helmet do for the Jets or Eagles exactly? The green helmet gets lost anyway with such poor contrast. Might as well leave an additional speck of your ACTUAL team color.

I will say, some of these work better than expected (Cardinals, maybe Bills), but some are just destroying color balance (Texans, Bears, Titans). That Bears look is especially pitiful without the navy helmet.

Which is why I think/hope it means change is on the way. The Eagles, regardless of what they do with their color green, need a visual shakeup. It's been way too long

Perhaps you’ll think again once you realize the rebrand would be an over-designed all green look, all white look, and all black look.

  6. The Saints have arguably the best Color Rush look in the league, and they somehow find a way to ruin it? I just can't wrap my head around why the league is allowing and encouraging this watering down of brands. yeah, it's just a game (or almost definitely two) but why is this necessary? Such a slippery slope, and while they at least are avoiding all black or all white, most teams will likely not take this approach.

Is this supposed to be a bad thing?

Nope. It works for them, but the point is that there don’t seem to be any rules restricting teams from doing whatever they want, which in other cases might not work so nicely.

  8. By this logic, pretty much any team could introduce an all-black “Color Rush” look even if black isn’t in their scheme. The league hasn’t made any effort to discourage this pathetic trend in any way, so keep expecting teams to do it.

Look at the Chargers, for instance. Navy and royal aren’t anywhere on their home or away uniform, yet both of these colors are featured as “Color Rush” looks.

  9. Didn't want to quote the whole thing, but here are some of my thoughts regarding WAH predictions, sort of going off of the above post:

I think the Jets will do it Week 1 vs. Baltimore since they did for their home openers each of the past two seasons. Could do it again Week 3 vs. CIN, in October, or not a second time at all.

Bears also wore throwback white in October last season vs. Green Bay. Could happen any week really.

Hopeful that Carolina wears blue or black for that Week 4 late afternoon game.

Saints wore Color Rush at home three times last season. I would expect it at least once in the Superdome, not just for the London game.

I think the Rams definitely wear white over yellow for the season opener rather than Week 2 vs. Atlanta. They could also appear against Dallas, but I think it's possible they save them for later in the season for another home game.

Bucs realistically might only wear it in Week 3 and Week 5 based on their allotment of late kickoffs.

Jags will likely only do it for Week 2. They come back home in Week 5, which is when teal started in 2021.

Titans is interesting with that late afternoon Week 1 kickoff. I think we could see light blue there or in Week 3 vs. Vegas.

Miami will hopefully start to wear aqua in Week 10 or 12 vs. CLE/HOU.

Atlanta is anyone's guess. Would love to see it in Week 1 because it would likely mean Saints in black over gold.

“White out game” leads me to believe the white uniforms will normally be work with burgundy or black pants, which yuck: but I’d say yuck to white too. This is how I feel about a stupid uncohesive design

I don't think that is the case, unfortunately. The team has yet to post any image or clip of a player in the white jersey with anything with but white pants.

Not sure if this is official confirmation, but Washington posted this on their social media pages regarding Week 1-

I would say this is quite convincing, considering they took the time to edit four players into this specific uniform combination. Still can't believe they omitted stripes on the pants just so that they could rock the all-white pajama look that looks awful on every team.

I would be shocked if that is the case, i think they just posted the date for the return of the helmet b/c it was some major marketing spin up sponsored by Coca Cola, but I am sure they will wear them twice. Though idk, the last two seasons they only wore gradient jerseys once. They could be planning on doing gradient twice and the throwback once, who knows

Plus, they always release a full uniform schedule and probably wanted to save the other date for that. The fact that they only wore the gradient once last season and for a London game tells me they don't think too highly of it. I don't seem them wearing it twice, whereas, with how much they're hyping up this red helmet, I don't see why they would only wear it one time.

  13. Some of these combos don’t even exist. Bengals white/orange, Broncos white/navy, Falcons white/red hasn’t been confirmed to be real yet.

The rest of the predictions are fairly reasonable, although I don’t think they’ve ever worn black in back-to-back weeks, as Weeks 16 and 17 has.

I think the Bills game will most likely be all-white vs. purple/white. The blue pants do not seem to be the preference at the moment for Buffalo. 2016 gave us that matchup with the blue pants at least.

You realize the game is at Philly, so I’m 100 percent certain the Eagles will wear green and the Packers the road white.  Besides the Eagles haven’t worn WAH in the regular season since 2015, and this late in the season since the mid 90s.  Just clarifying that.

Sadly, I think that could very well be a black jersey game for Philly, which they also did last time Green Bay visited in 2016 (also Week 12, but on Monday night).

The thing is, the Eagles somehow have four home prime time games this season, so who knows which ones will feature the black jerseys? I’m hoping Week 10 vs. Washington is one of them.
