The ads are even worse for me now. This is a 1920x1080 monitor and an ad covers up the thread names. Very quickly becoming an unusable site. Yeah great news about an "ad free option" coming, but I don't want to have to feel forced to pay for an ad free version because you make the version with ads unusable.

If they would've just done a single green pants stripe that extended the entire length of the pants this set would be so much better, too. I'm fine with the pointy arrow/stripe thing on the jersey. The pants it's just weird.

The only parts of this uniform that match are the jersey and socks.

The problem is it's a terrible shade of gray. There isn't enough contrast with colored or white jerseys. It needs to get darker (and worn against teams in white) or lighter (and worn against teams in dark). Instead it's smack dab in the middle and looks terrible in any matchup where the opponent isn't wearing black (and even then it's a tough game to watch).

White numbers. Only 1 version of gray needed. Also kill the all gray uniform. It's dumb.

As a season ticket holder of Minnesota United, I literally have no problem with announcers moving back and forth between a city name and an unofficial nickname. I don't have to imagine any of the scenarios you mention. Hearing "Minnesota" or "the Loons" are just fine when talking about Minnesota United. An announcer doing the same thing with Washington would be just fine with me if they leaned more into the unofficial nickname of Hogs. Call them "Washington" or "the Hogs". That's totally fine with me.

Honestly I kinda like Washington Football Team (but would prefer Washington Football Club). It has a classic, storied feel to it that fits a team that has been around as long as they have and have stuck with classic looking uniforms. But the reason why I don't want them to keep it is because I hate it when announcers and articles call them "the Football Team" rather than just "Washington". I get it in cases of databases where you have to insert a nickname into the database for auto populating websites and such. But in conversation and writing where you can choose to call them Washington it irks me to no end.

They switched their primary from black to teal. So discussing the Jaguars in a thread about "NFL Changes 2021" does kinda make sense.

These black pants were the opposite of greatness. They were terrible.

What do you mean by "non-matching"? Broncos home and away is the same design. Jaguars home and away is the same design. Sure the color emphasis is different, but both still use colors from their main color palette and their home & away uniforms still match in my view. Chargers was a different scenario, as they knew a re-design was in the works going back to powder blue so they promoted their powder blue secondary jersey to primary for a limited amount of time. Giants have a completely different uniform design for home and away, and that's why they don't match.

In that picture I don't actually mind the monochrome, because it has navy socks that match the helmets. Helps balance it better. (still not saying it's ideal or preferable to white pants with the orange jersey)
