It makes me wonder WTF is going on in their Creative Marketing Department to come up with these plain, boring, lazy inspired fields that we have seen for the past X amount of years.

How's this?
Much better than anything we will see Super Bowl Sunday for sure. I went with standard NFL logo at midfield, and NFL 100 logos at the 25s, as has been standard for the 2019 season. For the Titans endzone, I went with silver and white in the wordmark, with a navy outline, which is how the field was painted in Nashville in 2018 (without a columbia endzone). Looks better on the columbia background as well.
That field, pitt, might be the most beautiful NFL field I have seen in like 10 years. Which means, the NFL will NEVER let this type of field be seen on SB Sunday. Ugghh.

Beautiful fields and endzones, guys! Thanks.
Chiefs/Packers for me. Red v. Green.
But I wonder, if the Chiefs paint the endzones yellow this week, and win, do they go to the NFL's Creative Marketing Dept and ask them to mimic their yellow endzones for the SB?

We are getting closer and closer for some mock ups.
Just pizzed my Eagles lost. Painful to watch that and on top of it, a Blue team stays alive, double ughhh.

Great old school pics there, larry.

That Rams endzone is a thing of beauty!!
I wonder if the 6 gold diamonds mean anything. Like why 6? Why not do the entire endzones middle diamonds gold?
-
Rooting for my Eagles of course, but if they can't make it (which they won't), I want to see any team from the NFC except Seattle.
What a crapshow in the AFC. Guess I will root for the Chiefs. But I did that last year (and for the Saints) and look what it got us: blue on blue Super Bowl. Ugghhhhhh....
-
I DO NOT want to see blue. Or Baltimore. LOL
So, go KC, GB, NO, SF.
-
FYI to newbies to this thread............it is INCREDIBLE. BEST thread ever!!!
-
That Dolphins orange endzone is sick! I am not sure if I like that one or their diamond patterned one more. Too bad they had to beat my Eagles on that day. SMFH.
pitt,
What endzone matchup do you think would look best with the current (almost) playoff teams? And you have to chose based on the craptastic, awful, horrendous endzones that the NFL has used over the past 6 years or so. Them and their stupid Creative Marketing Department. Ugghhhhhhh.

The NFL Combine field looks good. Might even be better than the ragged assed Super Bowl fields of recent history.

Colors look ok.
Why oh why is the Rams helmet so dang close to the wordmark??!! Same stupid mistake that the NFL made last year in the Eagles endzone.

I was rooting for a Saints/Chiefs SB. Wanted to see a red endzone vs. a black or gold one. Maybe we will get that match up next year.
Chiefs uni's would have been awesome, either white over white or white over red. Saints, not so much, unless they brought out the gold pants.

Hey Everyone,
Shandon Melvin is the Creative Director for the NFL. I sent him an invite to connect via LinkedIn. We need to compose an influential message about changing up the Super Bowl fields to its glory in the 80’s and 90’s (in lieu of the 100th anniversary & beyond). I will see if he accepts my LinkedIn invite. Regardless, we need to get in touch with him! Stay tuned!
Cool. If he accepts, send him a link to this thread.
Some awesome ideas and field designs in here. The NFL could use some help.

The NFL Creative Department (Creative is being wayyyy to kind) should be punched in the gonads. And then fired.
I can understand designing the teams endzones for the SB to resemble their regular season home field endzones. BUT, this is the freaking SB. The endzones should be fun, colorful, unique, they should standout and POP!!

Wow the spacing in the Rams endzone is brutal looking. As bad as it was for the Eagles last year.
-
Those fields look beautiful, pitt. Thanks.
