Because the blue on the helmet is darker than the blue on the uni? I like the 2 different shades of blue. It's accurate. It makes the Rams endzone pop just a little bit.

If it does somehow in the future become the NFL Championship, as they keep phasing out the AFC/NFC, then just do it NCAA Tournament style. Seed all playoffs teams, 1 through 12, Conferences be damned. 

Ugghhhhh....stupid NFL. Who makes these decisions? Why do they make them?? No more helmets, no more conference logos, whats next?? No paint/color on the field at all??!!!

Seems like the NFL  has moved to some lazy, boring, ugly template for the SB fields. And there is no explanation for it.

I miss my youth. Those SB fields were gorgeous compared to the crap thats been put out the past 4 or 5 years.

Don't put it past the NFL to be bland, pitt. Yellow is barely used as a color by KC. So I can see the NFL giving them a white wordmark.  Falcons at least had a black helmet, but still got a white wordmark.

Rooting for a non-blue endzone battle. Go Saints! Go Chiefs!

With the red endzone, why would the Chiefs have a yellow wordmark?? I bet the stupid azzed NFL would paint them a white one. Like they did two years ago with the Falcons, who should have had a black wordmark.

It wouldn't be the first time they got lazy with the Eagles wordmark. In Super Bowl XXXIX they left the green out of the shadow in the black beneath the wordmark, which was interesting. Not sure if it was a mistake, or a decision to do it purposely though.

I would love to see all that too (I remember you posting last year about the 25 yard lines and two point line, LOL), but the trend for the NFL the past few years has been to 'lessen' the field and not have it 'pop' with logos, good paint, done up endzones, etc..I wish I knew why.

Seems like every logo/paint job/whatever gets washed out the past few years or so.  I think I first noticed it back in the Steelers/Packers SB in Dallas.

Being an Eagle fan, I of course blamed Jurrah Jones for having his field look like crap for a SB!! LOLOL.

The Divisional Logos on the Steelers field (I'll assume it will be the same for the other fields this weekend) just looks weak to me.  Barely even noticed them.

Eagles endzone would really POP with the Shield or the NFC logo.  Even if they have to squeeze it in there.

Chiefs/Jags, paint the damn endzones!!!!!!!! It's the playoffs, for crikes sake.

Saints/Steelers and Saints/Jags would look great.  

Ahhhh perfect, so we get another SB on a turf field where the paint will be washed out on the logos by middle of the 2nd quarter, and in the endzones by early 4th quarter.

Yep, agree 100%.  I can't believe how crappy the SB fields have become the past 4 or 5 years.

Loved loved loved the Saints endzone in gold against the Colts. I thought for sure it would be a black endzone.  So I guess I owe some kudos to someone from the NFL who made that wise decision, LOL.
