Ravens in all black today vs Bengals in white over black over white. Gonna be a very bland game. Not enough purple and orange

I’d like to reiterate my statement from earlier this season that teams pick the worst games to wear alternates. Prime example is Arizona.

Anyone remember when Richard Sherman had a very Anti-TNF stance? Now look at him

These clowns acting like this isn’t their regular away set

This should actually be a decent looking match up for these teams, much better than some of the combinations we could've ended up with
That’s what I was thinking as well. Color wise, this is a fine looking game. Uniform wise, well… ya know.

I only know him because he started for the WFT vs the Eagles last season in a weird Tuesday Night Covid game. I think it was the only game he played in all of last season. He's not good.
2019 AAF Orlando Apollos QB Garrett Gilbert would like a word

You’d think they would’ve learned from a past similar mistake

No they don’t. Especially Miami. If anything, Miami needs to make the throwbacks their primary look and ditch the toothpaste dolphin altogether.- 7

What did we get this design for - 2 years? It was perfect and should be brought back and never touched again.
Side note: the midfield logo was noticeably larger with the old logo this past week than in the photo shown. I liked the bigger size but yeah, this wordmark is 1000% better than the old one.
PPS: This past week was the exact right way to use a throwback. It should be as a once-in-a-blue moon special occasion with a REASON behind it. Using throwbacks as standard alternates drives me crazy.
Miami and San Francisco need to see this

Here’s to hoping the Chargers go with yellow pants and Browns put on orange pants
Also, @canzman you’re missing the Packers

"Houston Texans" is an amazing name for a football team. It's one of the best names in the NFL
Don’t let the Oiler-truthers see this

I’m starting to think the Bears weren’t the problem in the Allen Robinson-Chicago drama

Rams in blue pants…and blue socks.
Sigh.
This would’ve been a good time for Jalen Ramsey and the entire team to wear yellow socks

It’s been a bit. While I’m down and out from work for a couple weeks, I decided to pick up on this series for a quick minute.
The Tennessee Titans. Moving on from Greek Titans and into Music City Titans. For this one, I’m using guitar heads for a logo base. I can’t decide which one is a better shape to use. Or if I’m even going in the right direction.
C&C Appreciated as always!

If you told me after these first four games (@ Dal, @ NO, v GB, v KC) the Buccaneers would be 2-2 I would have said that was the most likely outcome, and it happened.

The best looking matchups this week were Bears-Giants, Chiefs-Buccaneers, and Jaguars-Eagles.
Rams-49ers is a shoe-in assuming LA goes with yellow pants to go against SF’s throwbacks.
Chargers-Texans could’ve been in the running for the best had the Chargers gone with yellow pants.
Bills-Ravens was okay. Buffalo desperately needs to start wearing blue socks with the all white.

After ~1/4th of the season has come and gone, here’s some things I like about the Mandies set
1. The Primary Helmet- it’s absolutely beautiful. Aside from the burgundy facemask, it’s everything I could’ve asked for in a new helmet
2. The new sleeve stripes on the yet-to-be-seen burgundy jerseys- They just look really good and are an improvement over the previous striping3. The “home and away” script on the burgundy “COMMANDERS” and white “WASHINGTON” jerseys- I wish more teams would follow this. It’s a nice quirk to add to a uniform.
4. The active avoidance of the monochrome look (outside of the all black). They’ve done a good job at refusing to don all white so far. We haven’t seen the burgundy yet and I’m sure we’ll get all burgundy at some point. But history shows they rarely do something like that.
Now, the things I hate
1. The black uniform- All of it. It feels so disconnected and ill advised. Enough said.
2. Stripe-less pants. How hard was it to just add a singular stripe to the pants? At least the black pants technically do have a stripe.
3. The addition of black in general- it was Dan Snyder’s wet dream to do this and he got his wish. The only way I’d like black to be included is a black facemask and nowhere else al a Vikings
4. The unnecessary addition of the lines above and below “COMMANDERS” on the burgundy jersey and the oversized lettering- It’s not even needed.
5. The Bengals jr font w/ stenciling- This team had two years to do this and the best they could do is a rip off/generic font for the wordmark and numbering.

The Mandies need a clean house. Axe the entire coaching staff (minus Assistant D-Line Coach Ryan Kerrigan). Horrible showings every week. This team needs to think hard this week about having Heinicke leading them outta the tunnel vs Tennessee instead of Wentz.
-
I was really pulling for Blaney at the end. That man can’t catch a break.

They’ll surely have a redo in 4 years right? They wouldn’t dare keep this train wreck around.
We have yet to see the burgundy jerseys in action. Let’s hope they have sense enough to wear it at home against Tennessee next week
-
Mandies really do look like the dollar store Steelers

Ya know, seeing the Saints black helmet paired with the color rush uniform in action, it’s not as bad as what I thought. The thick black outlines and the rich gold of the numbers pair nicely with the helmet. The weird stripe of the helmet is passable if you don’t pay attention to it.

Except they had these weird little segments at the top that were colored differently from the rest of the stripes
I know it was meant for being an extension of the side panels, but it still fits the overall design of the new jerseys

On its own, the Giants away set looks fine.
However, when you realize it’s counterpart has very little red, it sucks.
