Red is a tertiary color for the Titans, so it would look odd on the numbers but not prominent anywhere else.
That, and the fact that it would be a horrendous gradient.

In a world of gradients, what exactly would be stopping the Titans from doing gradient red numbers “to invoke the everlasting Olympic flame of
NashvilleAthens”?- 1

If the Titans do change, I have a feeling they’ll dumb it down by a million and just go with something similar to this-

I do like the use of double grey in the new set. It’s just poorly executed.

The Titans 5 years is up after this year, right?

Oh wow, this game does not look like it’s indoors at all
Also, there’s another team in this photo? I couldn’t tell from all the orange. I’m gonna disagree with “contrasted really nicely”.

It looks like he’s pointing to the white helmet with numbers on both sides.
I think the angle might be skewed. I think it’s whatever helmet is down and to the left
EDIT: It’s a throwback game either way. Likely the red helmet (closest bottom corner)

Maryland teasing a (presumably throwback) helmet for their Michigan State game in two weeks. My money is on a script helmet

It was at least nice that the Rams chose the lesser of three evils and went with bone over yellow yesterday with their matchup against Atlanta. It wouldn’t surprise me if they went with this again for Arizona. Seems like yellow is their default pants while blue is worn sparingly and bone isn’t even an option anymore.

Alex Smith had a very good career. Don't know how anybody can call him a bust with a straight face, tbh. In his seven seasons in San Francisco, he had three different head coaches and seven different offensive coordinators. How does anybody succeed in that dysfunctional of an organization? From 2011 on he was fantastic.
The, unfortunately, very limited time he spent in Washington was fantastic as well. Even after his comeback. The man knew how to win. Something you never get to see with that franchise.

Carson Wentz has been a good QB for Washington so far. He just doesn’t have the defensive support.
So naturally once again, I fall into deep football season sadness as I watch Washington implode for yet another full season.

Not factoring in socks to a uniform equation is a big whiff. It’s literally a mandated element of the overall product.
There’s a clear difference between these two-
and these two-
and these two-
and so on.
It’s just an odd choice to turn a blind eye to it.

Yeah, not sure how this qualifies as monochrome on your end.
Its a sharp looking game with great balance between the teams.

I’m predicting the Lions will wear the gray Color Rush tomorrow, as they did for their second home game last season. With Washington in burgundy pants, this would actually be an okay clash of colors, granted its two poorly-designed uniforms.
Lions going regular blue over silver
Washington is white over burgundy

The rule states that pants must be worn over the entire knee area. The rule also doesn’t specify when the pant length is supposed to stop.
Would love to see a player walk out with nearly full length pants with just a little sock showing

All three Round-of-16 races were won by non-playoff drivers
Darlington- Erik Jones
Kansas- Bubba Wallace
Bristol- Chris Buescher

I’d welcome this design back for Pittsburgh.

Even though I didn’t like the stripe treatment, Washington’s previous set applied the bottom stripe as the sleeve cuff
On some cuts, the striping did go all the way around

The more I sit with it the more I’m in awe at how much the Chargers nailed their new brand. Their standard sets are pretty much flawless, which is more than any Nike overhaul can say.
The Vikings have that weird number thing, the Browns and Bucs had to be bullied into turning back the clock, and the Bengals whiffed on the pants.
But the Chargers, aside from the alts, no notes. I prefer yellow pants, but white is still a 10/10 uniform.Agreed. Before 2020, I had always ranked the Vikings as the best of the Nike redesigns. Now, they’re not even in the top 5. With the Chargers, Browns 2.0, Buccaneers 2.0, Bengals, Colts+, and even the Rams ahead of them, IMO. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Vikings jerseys by themselves, but the pants stripes kinda gradually killed my love for the set.

One of the Chiefs WRs was wearing team official white socks while everyone else was in the red socks

All white sucks. Different colored socks are a must. In the Jets case, preferably green, but black would be a nice change of pace.
