I could live with the black helmet as an alternate, but the orange version is a no go at all.
I like this version that was only used in preseason in 2016

As nice as the red helmet is, wouldn’t Allen be breaking some type of player safety rule by using an unauthorized second helmet?

I like them?

I sure do miss these

On paper, that’s actually a super consistent schedule for Oregon

Seems kind of strange for a player to be wearing an alternate helmet in practice and the team just being like “jk what a silly goose ”

The organization is a circus owned by noteworthy ass-clown Daniel Snyder. Getting the helmet right was incidental, something you wouldn’t expect but can shrug off as a broken clock being right twice a day. The chances of getting anything else right along with it border on statistical insignificance.
IIRC, Dan had very little say in the design process. It was mainly his wife and HC Rivera

I just wanna know who within the Jaguars organization thought it was a good idea for the team to wear black pants, socks, and a jersey that lacks any vibrancy against a black centric team.
There is absolutely no reason they couldn’t have worn teal pants.
This game is aesthetically boring and dreary to watch.

From the shoulders down, this is the best the Jaguars have looked

Yeah it does. Ridley did the one thing you actually can’t do in the NFL. He :censored:ed with the money.Ah yes, money is way more important than the overall well-being of sexually harassed women.

Adding this because it's a helpful visual:
Nice gimmick where they have two distinct uniform sets, even though the Classic and Color Rush are under two separate uniform programs.
This whole Nike classification deal is weird. Also note that it's "Blue" and "White," but not "Home" and "Road." As someone who has never gotten over "Icon," "Association," "Statement," and "Earned," this looks like bad things ahead for the NFL
It’s helpful because it helps show how out of place the white uniform is compared to the rest of the uniforms

Athletes gambling on the sport they play is a whole different can of worms. It brings into question the legitimacy of the on-field product, and sports leagues simply cannot allow that to happen.
Watson is a complete POS and deserves at least a year suspension in my opinion, but that doesn't mean Calvin Ridley should get a lesser punishment.
I’m not saying Ridley should get a lesser punishment. It just baffles me that Watson only gets a slap on the wrist.
-
Calvin Ridley getting suspended for a full year for betting and Deshaun Watson only getting 6 games for his situation still just does not make any sense.
-
In terms of fitting in with the branding that Golden State has, this uniform sucks. I would’ve expected this from Utah or even Indiana. At least then the choice would’ve made more sense

The Rams have four basic colors: yellow, blue, white, bone.
The Chargers have five basic colors: yellow, white, light blue, medium blue and dark blue (and I'm not sure if the yellow changes).
The Rams will always be blue, white and yellow; sometimes bone (which is being phased out).
The Chargers will always be white, yellow, and one of three shades of blue, but none of those blues at the same time.
Ipso facto, the Rams are simpler.
Rams-
Blue-Blue
Blue-Bone
Blue-Yellow
White-Blue
White-Yellow
Bone-Bone
Bone-Blue
Bone-Yellow
Theoretically: White-Bone*
9* total combinations
Chargers-
P Blue-Yellow
P Blue-White
White-Yellow
White-White
R Blue-R Blue
N Blue-N Blue
6 total combinations
My point is, the Chargers alternates cannot be manipulated into the regular home and away and they only see the field twice a season (once each). On the other side, the Rams alternate, whether it’s white or bone, CAN be manipulated into the regular set at will.
Bottom line is, both teams utilize blue and yellow damn near beautifully. However, you’d have a better idea what the Chargers will wear week to week compared to the Rams.
-
This Rams-Chargers discussion is perplexing because the latter has such a basic uniform throughout the set.
@DG_ThenNowForever “You never know which palette you’re going to get.” doesn’t make any sense when they have two regular set of pants (white & yellow). Due to the nature of the the primary [powder] blue, the alt pants and jerseys cannot be worn outside of their regular status. You’d know exactly what you’d get with the Chargers. It’s blue and yellow. Just like the Rams have done with their set now.

Well, that settles it.
We are no longer allowed to talk about sports uniforms on a sports uniform forum.
Its been a real fun ride guys. Sad to see it end 🫡

I agree, for some reason. It works very differently from how an NFL uniform is supposed to and they probably shouldn’t have attempted it in the first place, but something about the colors here works for me. Any other presentation of the bone jersey that isnt with both bone pants and blue socks is utter garbage.
I didn’t mind this look. However, it was unusually less appealing than bone-bone-blue

The red one and the yellow one aren’t all that bad really. The rest can be burned in a dumpster.
