Didn't make that connection, but it makes sense given the 2-year rule. But they wouldn't leak it and risk losing sales of soon-to-be-obsolete jerseys. Or would they....
Seems kind of odd though that they’d special order a singular jersey (and likely pants) just for one photo that’s rather pointless on the surface of things.

It's got the current number font. If it's a throwback, they missed a pretty big detail (considering it's the only detail on those jerseys.)
They could go the Rams route and unveil it as a “modern throwback”.
The biggest thing that throws me off though is why just showcase a random guy in a uniform instead of a player like Murray. 24 has to be an indication of things, right?

I thought for sure this was a picture from Falcons practice
Also, the Cardinals Twitter header photo is showing a jersey that doesn’t seem to be their normal red jersey and it seems to be better quality than the practice jersey. Plus, why showcase a random player and not someone like Kyler Murray or JJ Watt? That person in the photo is definitely a model and not RB Darrel Williams

All Atlanta really needs to do is drop the side stripe on the jerseys and get a full red jersey.
For the Jets, the jersey and pants stripes desperately need to be outlined accordingly
Titans just need to drop the armpit stains and get a better pants stripe

Unpopular opinion (likely by a long shot), but this was such a fantastic uniform to build from

Also, I interpret the Commanders number and sleeve texturing as a more visually abrasive faux-mesh
and it’s more in line with Maryland’s previous white throwbacks in terms of patterning
-
I don’t know, copying and pasting the sleeves from the burgundy jersey isn’t that bad of an idea

If they just kept the previous uniforms and changed the logo, then it would have been perfect. But nope, leave it up to Synder to screw it all up. It has been a train wreck from the moment they decided to change the name...the name itself, the logo, the uniform, the anthem, and now the mascot.
I don’t know how many times this has to be said, but Snyder wasn’t directly responsible for the new uniforms. It was his wife, Tanya who was “heavily involved with the uniform design”.

As someone who has a taste for both traditional uniforms and contemporary ones, the Washington white jerseys grew on me seeing them in action today. They're very different, but I like the diamond pattern. I will get run off the boards for saying this, but if they had a black facemask I would dare to say the helmet and jersey could gel together and work.
The biggest issue I have is the same issue I have with the rest of the league -- the plain white pants, white socks/leggins, and white shoes.
We don't have uniforms in the NFL anymore, we just have "colorways" that are half the time "ICY WHITE" and apparently the players and young people like it.
Give me a black facemask and burgundy pants and I would actually sign off on that uniform with the current white jersey for the Commanders.
I’ve seen the two main jerseys side by side. Like you, I’ll get heat for saying this, but I preferred the white over the burgundy. Don’t get me wrong, the burgundy is okay, but the gigantic “COMMANDERS” and ridiculous stencil number font are a distraction.

Commanders are holding a poll for the new mascot theme and it’s… embarrassing

Allowing for alternates in the preseason that count towards the seasonal allowance for said alternates is, objectively, stupid.

It makes sense for teams to only release a home uniform schedule and not a full season uniform schedule

Anyone else remember the Louisville uniforms with the awkward forward facing shoulder numbers?

Vastly prefer the later version with the lighter gold, but this is a fun throwback.

The Chargers called, they want their helmets back and might be suing the school for the recolor treatment.
They could’ve had it out for Kent State, but didn’t do anything. Colors match up. Doubt they’ll do anything to St Francis

Bengals schedule is out, and all those who obsessed over the white helmet a couple weeks back are now complaining that the team is only wearing orange for one game (and it's against KC yet again). Can't make this stuff up.

How does burgundy helmet/white jersey/gold pants look?
