A Jets-like modernization is all the D-horse needs to become a full-time thing.

So here's my question about alternate uniforms now....
It's been made clear that an alt helmet can only be worn with an alt jersey.... What I'm wondering though is can a team opt to wear their primary helmet with an alt jersey? For example, could Denver choose to wear their primary navy helmet with their navy alt jerseys? Or is that a complete no-go under the alt helmet rules?
I’m sure they could request a waiver. It’s just a weird situation. Why couldn’t they wear the navy jersey with the navy helmet? As long as they don’t wear the white helmet with either of the other two jerseys, it should be okay.

how did Denver see this:
and decide to go with this instead?!
just an all time head scratcher. Such a miss on so many levels.
Simple- because it’s a throwback for a reason

Remove the '5280's from the helmet, pants and collars
Replace the tail light helmet stripe with a single orange one.
Fix the shoulder stripe so it extends all the way across and looks like an actual mountain instead of a lightning bolt
Remove the "speed holes", this isn't a car.
Extend all of the pants stripes from waist to ceiling.
I think this would make them decent. Right now they look like Chargers uniforms that yellow swapped out for orange.
Oh, I see we’ve finally cross the “this team looks like this team” threshold.

Here’s to hoping Denver gets bullied into removing the helmet stripe before week 1.

Denver not being able to wear the blue jersey without the white helmet is really holding the set back.

That guy has terrible taste in uniforms. His takes were so bad that I had to stop following him.
You’d think for a guy with the creamsicle uniform profile picture, he’d have better taste.

There’s a
“How high are you?”
”No, officer. It’s ’Hi, how are you?’”
joke in here somewhere about the multiple 5280 and triangles.

Not every uniform has to be a throwback, but it's not too much to ask for them to not look like trash.
It is possible to design a new uniform that looks classic, yet modern. It has happened before.
Not in Denver, unfortunately.
I’d argue that Denver took inspiration from their 1966 uniforms for this set. Whether or not they want to admit that is on them and forever a secret.

“but don’t the Chargers have bolts on their jerseys?? ”
has to be the dumbest criticism of this set.

Theory time- Denver removes those triangles after one year like how the Titans adjusted the number size on the Columbia blue jerseys after the first year.

They’re fine. Not offensively bad or anything, just very meh. The helmet stripe stinks, but I can live with that. It’s a real 6/10.
They're probably only gonna last as long as the minimal requirement, before the Broncos try something else that may or may not be better/a straight-up throwback.
I’d be willing to bet they’ll most likely correct the helmet stripe and get rid of the small triangles under the arms

The set definitely has its odd quirks, but an upgrade nonetheless.
Genuinely shocked at how well they turned out.

Weird helmet stripe aside, I dig these. Way better than what was feared.

Thats definitely an orange crush era tease at the end too

As of now-
1. Jets
2. Lions
3. Broncos
It’s pretty close between Detroit and Denver. Both have odd design choices and combinations. Jets are the only ones with a nice cohesive set.
