  1. The math wasn’t mathing in my head I so did a super quick google search. Turns out the Brady-era Patriots uniforms were an Adidas brain child from 2000. I still firmly believe the Texans saw this new style uniform and made it better. The two sets were essentially the same style. The most telling features are the shoulder stripes and pants stripes. Houston just removed the piping and rearranged some of the colors
  2. A couple baseball facts- William Holbert played baseball from 1876-1888, garnered 2,335 at-bats, and never hit a single home run In 2011, pitcher Josh Tomlin managed an entire 165.1 innings pitched season without a single player attempting to steal on him. The last time such a feat happened was in 1950.
  3. I’m sure it’s been brought up, but the Bears are the only NFL franchise without a 4000 yd passer
  4. The Nike logo not being flipped on the right sleeve of the ‘97 Broncos rebrand really irks me
  5. GUD giving us a 2D representation of potential uniform combinations
  6. When describing uniform elements, in a world of Sarah Michelle Gellars, be a Freddie Prinze Jr
  7. Spruce it up a bit- “We decided to honor the rockies by implementing a mountain range into the design” Thats it. Nothing pulled out of nowhere like- “This team stands tall and proud while doning such a powerful purple hue. Much like the majestic mountain range which protects this great state.”
  8. Technically speaking, the Cardinals could eventually unveil a grey/silver alternate uniform
  9. “Cardinals are notoriously territorial little :censored:s. Can’t keep ‘em outta my trees”
  10. Lost me at “large ARIZONA wordmark on the front so we can amplify our connection to the state of Arizona” You play in the damn state of Arizona. How much more of an amplification do you need? GTFO
  11. I mentioned this in the Cardinals thread, but I suppose it got lost in discussion- The NFC West is the first division to have all 4 teams with new Nike uniforms. (SF minor adjustments count). Broken down by division (changed in bold)- AFC North Ravens Steelers Bengals Browns* AFC East Bills Patriots Jets Dolphins* AFC South Texans Colts Titans Jaguars* AFC West Broncos Raiders Chiefs Chargers NFC North Packers Bears Vikings Lions NFC East Cowboys Eagles Giants Commanders NFC South Saints Panthers Falcons Buccaneers* NFC West Seahawks Rams 49ers Cardinals *- Denotes teams that underwent two uniform changes under Nike • The AFC South has the next closest chance at getting all four with Houston’s rumored new set coming next offseason at the earliest.
  12. This is why asymmetrical logos involving letters suck
  13. Maybe this is the year the Cardinals finally make it onto @infrared41’s best list
  14. What a bunch of jagoffs. Insinuating that fans would contribute to dog homelessness because of a harmless logo is a joke.
  15. I don’t know how many times it has to be said that it’s not TruColor’s fault. TC truthfully yet cautiously believed what was being told was legitimate. Including the actual photo evidence of the actual helmet which was essentially confirmed. Getting bent out of shape for letting your imagination get the better of you is your own fault.
  16. This is just saying you want the pre-05 uniforms with extra steps
  17. Fun Fact- The NFC West is the first division to have all 4 teams receive new uniform sets since Nike’s deal started. (SF minor tweaks count) Presumably by the start of 2024 or 2025 season, all divisions will have at least two teams with new sets.
  18. Honestly, I’m a little surprised they didn’t make the number perforations into tiny arizonas
  19. “What made you decide to introduce an alternate uniform that has no business in the regular rotation?”
