  1. I never thought the Bruins' modern look could be improved, but you've pretty much done just that. The subtle simplification to the spoked B works well. The dark brown is an appropriate middle ground between their current black and the original brown, and this colour scheme looks fantastic and really suits them. I like the alternate yellow jersey, however I'm a bit disappointed that it still features black instead of brown.

I'm not familiar enough with the inspiration behind the city uniform, but visually it makes much more sense for the Bruins than the Red Sox.

  2. The Coyotes kachina jerseys are a unique design but the muted colours on a primarily black uniform makes for a surprisingly dull look on the ice. I think they look better as a red team, and this simple colour swap of yours looks great. However I think the white jersey also needs to emphasise red as the primary colour instead of black.

And speaking of black, I like the alternate uniform. Not much else to say except that the striping design reminds me of an enlarged version of what the Ducks currently use in their branding (as do the Kraken). But since your version of the Ducks are no longer using that design I guess this is a moot point 😛

The city jersey is excellent. Love the sunset striping.

  3. I can see the 25th anniversary jersey influence on the home and roads, and it makes for a solid look that pays homage to everything they've worn before. I prefer the eggplant and jade colour scheme, but something like this is ideal if they're sticking with black and orange. Even putting aside my logo preference (I prefer the Mighty Ducks crest over the D) this is a big improvement over the current uniforms. I don't know if it would look better without coloured shoulder yokes, but I liked it on the 25th anniversary jersey and I like it here too.

The alternate is nice, only change I would suggest is swapping the yellow sticks for orange on the logo to match the rest of the identity. Jade helmet and pants is something we never saw in the Mighty Ducks era so that could look interesting, or it might be a bit too much jade. But with this being based on their 2003 alts I can see why you did it that way.

Speaking as a Ducks fan who is not a resident of Anaheim, let alone North America; I like the flag inspired design in itself, however it kind of goes against how the team markets itself. The whole reason they use orange in their identity is as a nod to Orange County, so maybe a design inspired by the Orange County flag would be a more appropriate way to tie it all together. That said, if the Ducks were ever to host an All Star game the design you're currently using would be perfect for that.

  4. A decent looking matchup for the Heritage Classic overall. The Sabres jersey isn't especially remarkable as a slightly diferent take on their classic look, but I like the design in itself.

With the Arenas text in blue the Toronto jersey almost feels like it's meant to be a halfway point between the 1917 and 1918 versions, otherwise I'm not sure what they're going for. Or maybe they couldn't decide if they wanted it with or without the white Arenas text, either of which would have been preferable.

-Purple "Anaheim" wordmark jerseys from the black/purple alts of the 2000s

I could get behind that. The purple/black colour swap would do it a favour, plus it makes sense that they'd go with something a bit different before bringing out a proper throwback (or throwback-inspired uniform) for their 30th anniversary.

  6. I liked the Flames in red and black - not so much the white jerseys of that era, for some reason that I can't put my finger on - but I also like them without black. I used to think the retro look was a bit garish but it's grown on me a lot.

A red and black alt more like their 2004 era jersey would be neat, otherwise I think they're better off sticking with the classic colours for their primary look.

  7. Without knowing the context of its inspiration, it comes off as something made for a pro wrestler or an over the top extreme hype video. That was my first impression anyway.

Now I have a better understanding and can appreciate how and why it came about, but "SMASHVILLE" is still groanworthy.

  8. Tampa Bay's is the better of the two, but it's also not much different from alternates they've worn before. Very run-of-the-mill for a Stadium Series sweater.

The Bolts script is a bit tacky, but nothing will ever be as tacky as "SMASHVILLE" on a team's jersey.

  9. The current home jersey is almost a perfect balance for that colour scheme if they continue to insist on being a primarily black team. Too much orange isn't the problem, but it's too much extra crap those jerseys don't need, which is especially evident on the road whites. Why is there an extra black outline on the crest? Why is there a black shoulder yoke? Even the garish sidepanels wouldn't be as bad if not for the extra black stripe and orange pinstripes. The black jersey is a poorly thought out design and the white version is a lazy recolour.

I don't like these uniforms and yet I still kind of prefer them over the 06-14 set.

  10. The D and the shoulder patches would certainly have been improvements, but the rest of that uniform was still boring to look at. They pushed for representing Orange County yet all it amounted to was a thin strip that faded into the black base.

The only way I'd want that brought back would be for another Reverse Retro jersey; eggplant and jade replacing black and orange, and metallic silver in place of the gold, to celebrate the "mightiest" Ducks.

Looks like the ducks are just wearing old jerseys for preseason. Unless we se the crests and they have the extra flourishes the New Jersey’s do

They don't. Or maybe they do but I'm not really sure.

If any change has been made, it's so subtle that no one would notice.

It looks like the white outline in the middle of the D is slightly more bevelled, but otherwise I'm not seeing any obvious change to the Ducks crest. I'd like to think it's an early sign that these uniforms are on the way out, except there's now embroidery on the shoulder patches so hooray for that I guess.
