That 3D Jazz sign on the Salt Palace is pretty amazing. It reminds me of WWE's gigantic Wrestlemania signs.

To add onto the 60's Lakers and Celtics stuff from earlier in the thread, how about some actual video?

22 December, 1993. They played the Bullets, with both teams wearing throwbacks.
The NBA claims that the first teams to wear throwbacks were for the 50th anniversary season in 1996-97, but there were numerous games going back to 1992 where teams wore them. I've got loads more pictures from these games (I think there was actually a thread about them here a while back), I'll get them posted later.
It seems like other sports leagues picked up on the idea of throwbacks once the Chicago White Sox did it for the first time ever in 1990. So if we're mapping this out, the MLB started throwbacks in 1990, NBA in 1992, and the NFL in 1994. I'm not totally sure about the NHL but I know it happened in the 90's.
Also in that Sonics pic, the Champion logo is on the shorts. There was talk in this thread about how it never appeared on uniforms, but there it is!

It's awesome to see a high quality picture of the Lakers playing at the LA Sports Arena. This picture could be from one of their many Finals encounters.
To add to the fun, check out the Boston Garden scoreboard!

I've been playing the NFL Blitz since the first one came out in 1998 and I never knew about this, then again I never got to play NFL Blitz '99 much because it was only released in Arcades and I only came across the machine maybe once or twice.

2009 San Diego Chargers - (Full Chargers Fields Album)
Field 4 - This was a really neat field. The Chargers used another field with the diamond endzones this season, but it did not have the team name.
It's like their old field design before the redesign.

Jerry Rice in a Seahawks uniform was pretty bad but how about this?

I feel like I really shouldn't, but I really liked and still like everything about the 90's purple and green Bucks. Like, I don't know if it's just being a 90's kid and the natural nostalgia attacks that come with it or if it's a genuine design tastes thing, but for some reason I look at this:
And my brain is like, "yep, looks good!" Although admittedly I think for long-term purposes I'd have switched the purple and green around to make the jersey green primarily, like their alternate was.
It was an alright look until they added silver numbers and green sidepanels.

I figured I would post this because any good quality photos from the 1994 season is a rarity itself. Here we have the Raiders and Broncos in throwbacks. This whole scenario is weird for a variety of reasons.

You're using the 2006 Vikings helmet logo.
Should be like this:

Looking forward to this.

This is a really cool uniform:
I love the chrome affect of it, it didn't look like a garbage bag to me. TBH I've never seen footage of it in play, only pictures, so maybe it looked silly in action, but from what I've seen it looked pretty sleek.
.
I remember seeing that game on TV. I remember that jersey was in NBA Live 2004, which came out before the season started. The jersey was just a grey color and not glossy at all, so when the Mavs came out onto the court wearing that I was really surprised because they took a decent idea and ruined it.

This is a great look, but it wasn't a good look for the Warriors. I think it could actually make a good look for the Thunder.
I completely forgot there was a time when NBA jerseys had shiny material. I liked it on some jerseys.

On the subject of Videogame graphics, Madden '96 on the Playstation had the NFL on Fox graphics in use at the time. The game was never released because it was an inferior product for the Playstation. Had it been released, it would have been the first sports video game to utilize broadcast presentation until NBA Live '97 with it's TNT and TBS graphics.
I believe it used the exact team logos Fox did for it's presentation, too.
NCAA Basketball 10 on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 had CBS and ESPN. Unfortunately, that was the only good part about the game.
The last few NCAA Football games and the current (yet awful) NBA Live 14 are using ESPN presentation aswell. Don't forget about the 2K games in 2004 and 2005.

MLB on FOX 2005 (World Series) - 2007
These were the best Fox graphics ever and was also used for the NFL aswell. Current Fox graphics are good too, but these were just so good.
On this subject, does anybody remember the New Years Eve game between the 49ers/Broncos in 2006? The bad snow storms in Denver caused the Fox trucks not to get their, so they used stuff from Fox Sports Rocky Mountain, and thus for probably the only time ever, you saw Fox Sports Net graphics during an NFL game. Watching that game was weird because the picture quality clearly wasn't on the normal level of the typical Fox Broadcast, I didn't have an HDTV at the time but even then you could just tell how off it looked. Also, the grass looked awful.

The Jets logo is at midfield in that first 1999 NFL Primetime video.
Huh, didn't know they ever did that.

Man, those ESPN graphics from early 2000's is classic.
Always loved the NFL on Fox bar.
This one was amazing. It had animated snow on top, with a snow plow coming in to rake it up every now and then, and also had Christmas lights!

As much as I like how Jazz is a suitable name for New Orleans, I wouldn't want it to end up that way again. As someone who got into the NBA during the Jazz/Bulls rivalry in the late 90's, I'm just too familiar with the team being in Utah. The name doesn't make sense but it just feels right.
Here's some photos of the Jazz playing on their classic Delta Center court in the 96-97 season. From what I recall, a hockey rink messed up the then-new court so they had to go back to the old one for a few games. Also, these pictures make me realize how the color sucked on that court as it's basically maroon.
