  1. His rookie jersey, mainly because the vertical is his right uniform as a Blazer (because of the championship) and the sash -- albeit worn one season by him -- is the franchise's most recognizable jersey. And, I guess you could make the argument the sash is the jersey he won a MVP in.
  2. I swear I've seen it during the midnight hours.
  3. He also wore #33 for the first half season he was with the Knicks. I've been looking for a picture of him in it -- nothing yet.
  4. Especially considering the fact that odds are he's leaving after one season.
  5. That looks like an old Sacramento Kings court. I'll have to do a little research, but does anyone have a full picture of the court?
  6. I think it could work. But, it's all about timing and location. It'd have to be either preseason or around November and in places like Phoenix, Miami or low-precipitation locations.
  7. We have the Players in the "Wrong" Uniforms thread and within that thread I've seen a few "Right Team, Wrong Uniform" entries. I thought I'd separate the two, because it is an interesting topic of its' own. Here are a few to start the thread off with ... Charles Barkley, Preseason 1992, Phoenix Suns Matt Hasselbeck, 2001, Seattle Seahawks Jeff Bagwell, 1992, Houston Astros.
  8. Arthur Ashe Stadium would be a fun place too since it has a retractable roof.
  9. I do wonder why they played in the Kingdome? But, it looks like they played against the Bulls in late November in both 1991 and 1992 in the Kingdome. I'm assuming this might be to accommodate the bigger crowd with the Bulls' popularity?
  10. Yeah, I've looked for those games as well. Including a few they played in the Tacoma Dome around that season.
  11. I've found it interesting how many different -- slightly, but different -- jerseys the Bulls had before settling in the modern set that's remained the same (more or less) since 1985. As you can tell there are many inconsistencies with spacing, number placement and material wise as well. I'm not even sure if I can create a solid timeline because some differences were midseason.
  12. Yeah, I'm not sure why they played in the Metrodome in '96? Seems rather odd to roll out a whole court and stands for a pre-season game. On a side note ... I think the NBA should and could do a special game in the same spirit of the NHL Stadium Series in markets with domed stadiums. You could do it on Christmas or after football season in February or March?
  13. Thanks for that run down and research. The gold with white outline don't look much better.
  14. Is there a reasoning of the mid-season change? Are there any other examples of such a change? I want to say there was back some 10-15 years ago? Was it the Wizards? I'll have to dig.
  15. Here's a rarity since Reeves never played for the MEMPHIS Grizzlies in the regular season. He played two preseason games in Memphis before being put on the IR and eventually retiring.
  16. I know the San Francisco Warriors played in a number of Bay Area and other neutral courts before moving into the Oakland Coliseum full-time. But, this is somewhat of a rare sight seeing the original 'THE CITY' jerseys in the Oakland Coliseum.
  17. Interesting find ... Noticed the blue in the middle of the O's and D in Orlando (bottom photo), it seems like this was only done in the 1990-91 season. I am assuming this might be because of the switch to Champion that the NBA made that year (when you put into account the slight differences to Boston and Utah's jerseys for the first couple of months). The photo on the right is from the Sacramento Kings game on April 11th (according to the caption) so that'd kind of debunk it happening earlier in the season. But, everything else that I've seen the norm for these Magic jerseys is the first picture -- without the blue.
  18. Actually it's Saskatchewan Place in Saskatoon.
  19. It's really odd to see the Bad Boy-era jerseys next to the Grizzlies. So odd.
  20. Perfect. Thank you. That was what I was getting from what I researched. I wonder why they did the mismatch?
