Whoa. At least Atlanta realized that Cousins is a complete loser. It's just a shame they realized that after committing a ton of guaranteed money to him.
So is Penix just going to sit the bench a la Jordan Love and Aaron Rodgers? I feel for the guy, having to just sit there and hold a clipboard while his contemporaries get to ball out.
Penix will be 28 when the Cousins contract expires. Love is only 25 and has already been in the league for four years and will likely be in Green Bay for a decade and probably playing for the Jets when he's close to 40.

So basically the last really good QB Draft Class is 2020: Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Jordan Love and Jalen Hurts. The jury is still out on Tua.
Would it be a surprise if Spencer Rattler or Michael Pratt have better NFL careers than Nix and McCarthy?

Buffalo trades #32 and a 6th to Carolina for #33 and a 5th round pick on Saturday

Cowboys select OT Tyler Guyton from Oklahoma.....this means he's going to be a stud.

So are the Falcons thinking that they can "Jordan Love" Michael Penix?

I love that there has been this epic backlash against sports teams wanting to use the public to fund their places to play. Oklahoma City has been the exception.

I don't know how anyone would think that this was a possibility. Of course it's Greenberg and his Get Up! crew coming up with non-stories just for reactions. God that show is trash.
Jim Harbaugh has been gushing over Justin Herbert for months now, so this isn't going to happen.

Saw the chat for this on the Bears YouTube channel and the response in the chat when they showed the renderings was "parking?" or "where's the parking" like every three comments.

So when this all blows up in Kevin Warren's face, do they go back to Arlington Heights?

So Arlington Park has still not been ruled out?

So the exclusive negotiating window that NBA has with Turner and ESPN has expired, and now others can make bids for the NBA TV rights. Amazon and NBC are contenders according to the Athletic. If NBC returns, I want to see this return:

That's so weird. So he keeps a franchise certificate, but can't use it to actually run a franchise (or if he wanted to, the league wouldn't give him players, the union would prohibit anyone from signing with him, and the league wouldn't add them to the schedule.)
But... he technically remains an owner - so what, does he attend owners' meetings? Does the lineage die in 5 years? Questions. I have questions.
The league did this to prevent a lawsuit from him.

So move them in an effort to fix it, lest they not be here the year after.
But how many teams? If they do have to relocate teams, they need to figure out how many they have to relocate.

Because attendance figures of 5-7k show what, exactly?
That they need to fix things really fast for 2025, because if this continues in 2025, there will be no 2026 for the UFL.

What does 'having the franchise' mean? Once his five year pipe dream of an expansion team is up? Once the moving vans cross the state line?
He has 5 years from last week to try to reactivate the Coyotes and then if they are re-activated, he cannot sell a majority of the Coyotes for 5 years after the team comes back. He has a key land auction on June 27th that he has to win.

It is too soon for the UFL to relocate teams after the 2024 season as it shows instability. Give these teams one more year with proper marketing and moving the practices to the respective cities.
