The actual Under Armour jerseys aren't expected until at least summer, but they are releasing these tomorrow at 10:00 AM EST. I'm expecting they'll probably be around the same price as the USFL jerseys. The #54 jerseys will have Johnson on the back. I'm not sure if the #23 jerseys will have any names or team nicknames on the back of them.

The Rock really wants people to know he's behind this whole thing. Like REALLY wants people to know.

  2. I think that causes a problem though, because then you need to present the helmet, pants and etc at some point, which would need to be before the draft, because just presenting the jerseys is going to leave a lot of what we want to see

Perhaps the Ravens are up to something..

OBJ was announced today and they used the black jersey for the press conference. The team then posted mockups of his name on the black, white and color rush but not on the home purple. Could be nothing but odd nonetheless

Ravens need to do Black/Purple at home and White/Purple on the road. IT could be that, but who actually knows.

  4. If they are going to go Desert Camo/Pat Tilman, I wouldn't mind seeing them putting a spin on the ASU Tilman uniforms from a while back. I think they would look nice regardless. Maybe just the color for the Helmet/Jersey/Pants and and a patch on the jersey or a helmet sticker.

Is the helmet going to be a “cardinal egg” type white finish? A little textured?

I mean in practice that doesn't sound terrible, but how textured will it be?

Will it be noticeable too? Or will it be like Oregon's speckled jersey?

One of you is on the right track as far as the helmets go...

So you're telling me that the Cardinals helmets are gonna either be a nice upgrade, or something really, really gimmicky?

Yeah, it's going to take a little bit of getting used to. The tailoring looks unorthodox for the NFL, especially for more traditional teams.

Nike does offer a more horizontal chest/should tailoring on their catalogue, so I hope they pull that out for some of the teams.

Hopefully this means the Steelers can do the Batman throwback now.

All I will say about the helmet (yes, I have a picture that I have promised NOT to share), is that when you see it, you'll think "of course...it all makes sense now".

    I think.

I will also say is that from what I know of the uniforms that the helmets do tie into the uniforms, but I have a number of questions about that...the things I'm hearing don't all make sense to me.

Is there a date for the reveal? I know the 17th was mentioned, but was it set in stone? Has there been a formal announcement at all?

The White helmets ARE changing, and the Gray face masks are also going away. 100%.

How much is the helmet changing? Someone said before that there was going to be a flake pattern, is there anything else? Like addition of stripe pattern or?

  10. I say just give them the Washington Football Team identity again and the old uniforms and call it a day. There was nothing wrong with that in my mind and the change away from it seemed short sighted.

I can understand the point of having a unique mark for premier college schools, but slapping the Jordan logo on a jersey makes no sense to me at all. Why the world's premier football league would wear uniforms marked by someone who played an entirely different sport is beyond me. It doesn't make much sense in college football, and it makes even less sense with the NFL.

I think it depends on the connection,  with UNC I don’t think it really changes because Jordans connection with the school. All the others are kinda bunk.

Red/red/yellow or yellow/red/yellow (as a nostalgia tip to the 80s) would be pretty good looks for the Cyclones.

They used to do R/R/Yaa a on the set before this one. Why they got rid of the yellow pants is beyond me.

Did Riddell make a helmet pad to make those gladiator lids obsolete or is that their version of the Vicis Trench?

It’s definelty a cap, but it doesn’t look like the normal guardian caps.

they almost look like an additional piece they put on the helmet. Because you can definitely tell  it isn’t the same material as the guardian caps that are on helmets during practice. It looks closer to this kind of attachment that some players used in the 90s
