  1. **EDIT** I had a look at the away for the Iron and realised that white wasn't going to cut it... so i made the road silver.
  2. The next two team in the Central Division used to come from the South... both were AAF teams that resided in Memphis and Birmingham however that league was dissolved without financial impact, Memphis was horribly treated by FedEX and after the scandal of the Gruden emails in the NFL, FedEx lost all options of corporate sponsorship of teams because it was proven that they alongside Nike were found guilty in politically taking advantage of the Washington naming saga. So the Express was sold cheaply and they were forced to relocated.... to Louisville, Kentucky. LOUISVILLE EXPRESS The Express aka the worst team of the AAF and the embodiment of a failed league... returns with an out-there look in a Central League that spans from East to West... they aren't one of the top sides of the Central, again they have decent owners and they adoped Louisville Red as their official colour in response to the move north. The other team was an exciting side that took advantage of Birmingham, Alabama... in fact they were poised to play in the Southern Division but the popularity of the Birmingham Stallions overshadowed their plans... so Jim Irsay owner of the Colts came to the UAXF and decided to buy the Iron and move them to Indianapolis, Indiana. The public owner of the new Iron... is one Pat Mcafee. INDIANA IRON One of the best looks in the AAF returns with a more steel looking set, adapting Iron Black, Silver and Gray to the lineup... there are clever new age ways of telling the team apart, for instance the helmet stripe is spelled out in the shape of an I whilst the look of the side is Raiders, the number font is Colts and the determination of the team is forged in Yinzer blood and tears. The Iron are one of the top sides of the division to no one's shock... one of the league's best rivalries is Pittsburgh vs Indiana.
  3. Team #16... moving west from Pittsburgh into the state of Ohio and residing from Columbia... OHIO GLORY The Glory is the first entrant from the WLAF... the precursor to the NFL Europa where this team only lasted two years but that was because the WLAF was deemed a failure by the NFL... however it gave Columbus a taste of some football and with this team coming back, it helps that they are not bad but also not good. They're average considering the Glory consists of Blue, White and Red.... luckily we don't need to go into much, sometimes an early 90's look is considered Retro enough to survive in the modern day. Their big rivals is the infamous Knights that used to reside in New York/New Jersey moving to an unexpected place.
  4. The First team in the Central Division... a section that goes from East to West, a very large by mileage division... we're gonna go from East first because I had spoiled them in an earlier post thanks to the Federals relocating to Boston and the Baltimore compensation. PITTSBURGH MAULERS The only Pittsburgh team not to succomb to the cancerous mantra of Black and Gold... Maulers existed for one year, was a breath of fresh air to the design and is going to be coming back. The Team's Purple, Orange, White and Grey makes it a good reason to exist... they are legit pissed off at Baltimore for taking away their rivalry with the Stars but they are thankful to the Bombers because it allowed them to invest in their other rivalry games in the Michigan Panthers and the Chicago Blitz.
  5. Oh yeah, the final team for the East Division and fitting I would put up one of the top teams as well... PHILADELPHIA STARS The Philly Stars known for one of the best uniform combos in the league... Gold, White and Orange. Literally whoever thought this was an idea should be given a medal... traditional uniforms with an unusual flair for the dramatics... originally them and the Birmingham Stallions had the same style but one day they decided to replace red with orange and it works out so well. And with that, the Eastern Division is complete. How each division works: 1 Team is paired up with 5 others, said group plays each other twice for 10 games... 4 more games are then decided in neutral venues against one side that isn't in the rotation, an opponent in the Central, an opponent in the South and an opponent in the West... this is done in a 3 yearly rate
  6. Team #13... and the last team in the Eastern to complete an unofficial trifecta in terms of rivalry.... we have Navy (Destroyers), we have Air Force (Bombers) and now we bring in the Army... NEW JERSEY GENERALS The team that was infamous owned by a Billionaire turned President... the Generals move away from their traditional looks in their 3 years in the USFL and embrace darker colors for warfare... New Jersey doesn't have much good teams but in the Eastern, the Gens are one of the top sides... full of musclepower and grit and hotdogs.
  7. They have been moved to Boston, they are probably going to keep the current look for now
  8. ....... why the :censored: did i not think about the graphite.
  9. Any thoughts on the Bombers or the relocation of the Federals to Boston?
  10. Next up team #12... the compensation pick for a team that missed out on the Federals relocation and the tenth team for the Eastern division. and an excuse to do an NFL expansion failure. BALTIMORE BOMBERS When you didn't feel like making a Baltimore Stallions concept because you have no plans for Canadian football league nor the fact that Stallions of two different cities is already in the consideration list.... I decide to pull a rabbit out of the hat and essentially go for a modern esc take on a team that missed out to the Panthers and to the Jags in the NFL. The Bombers being included here means that there is in fact a loser in this... and it is the Pittsburgh Maulers who have been moved to the Central Division. ((Logo was made by @hugevolsfan originally))
  11. After some consideration, I've decided to move the Federals to Boston... in response Baltimore will get a team in compensation.
  12. This is because I've already moved the Tampa Bay Vipers to Miami
  13. I might as well ask the question then to everyone that reads this: Would you rather see at Boston/Baltimore? The Defenders or the Federals?
  14. You thought I was done? WRONG.... team #11 and the team that links Florida to Hartford.... has a real buzz about them. CHARLOTTE HORNETS Certainly didn't expect this lot did you? No when I thought about the Charlotte Hornets... the more it makes sense to me to put them in the East division linking Jacksonville to Norfolk... and to compare them to the New Orleans Saints... the helmet literally screamed to me this is Saints, this is Saints before and this is Saints afterwards so I put them in current Saints set just get rid of the fleurs for the hornets and you literally HAVE the New Orleans Saints as they are. The logo featured was done by @WideRight in his concept and it actually fits the aesthetic of this team from the mid 70's BUT the fans are making a buzz of their own since in hindsight and like actual Saints... the bright yellow striped pants were the best look.
  15. And now because I'm in a creative mood... team #10 is here, another UFL side that won it's league but the look was bad... I mean I wasn't sure what to make them, either New York Sentinels or a botched attempt at New England Patriots so looking at their colour scheme and the fact that they tried to be Patriots means only one thing... well if you are trying to look like Patriots, you might as well go for the full effort. Plus Navy is retired for the Pats so this is perfect. VIRGINIA DESTROYERS The Destroyers of Norfolk are a team that look the best but do they play the best? Rivalries include the Apollos and the Bolts for that IRL NE/Florida/New York symmentry as well as other teams... the Generals aren't big fans of theirs and neither is their main rival, the Colonials. Half bonus is that they also adapted another classic look in the form of the Norfolk Neptunes, a very OLD team that one day may come back if i do the D-League idea one day... considering the Neptunes were going to be Washington's but that concept never left the ground or the thread never did.
  16. Next team up #9... a team from the UFL with terrible helmet stripe designs but have a good uniform set so I went with it. HARTFORD COLONIALS The Colonials are the northern most side in the Eastern division and they have fresh rivalries with a good number of teams with their traditional style... also the fact that their blue is the same blue used by the legendary Whalers.
  17. If there was a team in Boston or Baltimore then I would of merged the two teams, unfortuately there isn't so two DC teams will have to be.... if it means anything they don't play each other every season.
  18. One is stuck where they are, the Federals play at Fed Ex Field.
  19. Team #8 and hopefully some of you might be figuring out that 6 of these teams form the Eastern block of the UAXF... WASHINGTON FEDERALS Into the USFL's lower tier comes the Federals and to this day, I still question why this team would dress up like the Philadelphia Eagles... if I was to sort this team out then it would be to move them out of Orlando and back into Washington, then I would darken the green so it becomes Federal Green, the backdrop for US Money and lighten the silver so it becomes lightish... the dark/light balance would improve the uniform. Other than that, this team really doesn't change much in terms of looks... it's more traditional this way and you didn't jettison your Renegades castoff to say Kansas City.
