I made a simple recolouring of the logo with their modern colours. Turns out the light blue details would be lost when it's on a white base. Doesn't hurt to try, though!

The change to navy is where the orange now shines the brightest, which isn't a bad thing. Oilers in navy look just as fine as them in royal blue. However, with so much great history associated with royal blue you're technically messing with what's perfect.
It's funny to me how a change in colour shade can piss off some people within the hockey community (or any sports fandom in general).

Who creates the regulation? Oh yea the league and owner who will just change it when it’s convenient to them.
That's why I said I doubt it. I'm not that naive when it comes to these issues. Whether or not it happens depends on the higher-ups, because they lack jersey design taste and aesthetic.

They brought in helmet ads under false pretenses and permanent. Jersey ads are coming even if the NHL promises they aren't
8 minutes ago, dont care said:You’re a fool if you believe that. What will really happen is they will wait a few years and add ads to the jerseys and hope no one remembered.
That's what I said about the need of regulation. It's to prevent and put a stop on the practice. Of course, it'll take a million voices for the NHL to notice, but I doubt that.

I still have no idea who will win this tournament. There seems to be no real favorite thus far. I'm hoping for England though, but I'm guessing Italy.
Until Southgate moves away from playing too safe with his squad, England will settle for another third-place finish judging from the first two group stage games.
In this era of football, offense-based tactics are more likely to win you games (and attract crowds, too). Especially when you can successfully capitalize on good chances.

Then people will be saying “one sponsor on a jersey isn’t that bad, we’ll have to get used to it. When it gets to 2, it’s gonna be another level..”
That philosophy is what I subscribed at the beginning of the season. When I realized they weren't as intrusive as I make out to be, I stop complaining and I just accepted the fact.
That said, someone has to regulate the amount of sponsors in said jersey. Like making the logo smaller so it wouldn't look horrible when the cameras get close to the players.
Unfortunately, sponsorships on hockey jerseys aren't the same as sponsorships on jerseys.....

That was an overkill. Nike has gone so ambitious that I think the design is too much beyond our brains. Basing your striping design on a club badge is just gnarly to look at. I think the white details are the only good part for the home kit because the rest is just bonkers.
The only way I can improve the design is to the switch the sleeve colours so it's red on the right sleeve and blue on the other one. Then again, by far the ugliest jersey of 2021.

Nike really won the manufacturers’ tournament.
Then the me why did England went with a blue away kit instead of red?

Now I looked at it for a while, it's tolerable but I wouldn't use it for another season.

GOALKEEPER GOAL ALERT
Alisson just scored for Liverpool at the very end of stoppage time to beat West Brom! It's the first time a goalkeeper has scored with a header in the Premier League, and the first time a goalkeeper has scored for Liverpool since the club was founded in 1892.
I know the other keepers to score a goal in the PL are Tim Howard and Asmir Begovic. They both score from their own box. Can't think of anyone other than these two, however.

Reportedly, the PSG shirt comes with Chicago Bulls style shorts.
Typical for a company who's logo is based on a Bulls legend. Still, that PSG home kit feels underwhelming without their iconic Hectare.

Padres are in san diego. The AHL's Gulls may be the better option
But I want to see a teal baseball jersey. Maybe it might work on Padres identity.

The purple kit reminded me of Fiorentina. I would buy it if it is real.

Are they all real, or do you make these up? Just curious.

Would it be an previous colour scheme the Wizards used to have in?

ESPN has a great read on how the NHL conned players into going to Edmonton's bubble which was, by one account, a prison with a Tim Horton's truck in its exercise yard.
"Even playing golf was a hassle," one Western Conference player said. "You have to set up a golf time. It has to be an exact time, but it has to be everybody or nobody. Realistically, what team is going to set up a full-team golf outing between Games 3 and 4 in the second round?"
It wasn't just the lack of golf trips that irked players. "They promised us excursions: 'Oh, we're going to have fly fishing and golf, a golf course just for us -- you can go whenever you want -- and a field,'" a Western Conference player said. "We went to the field one time. It was a fight to even golf once. And please let me know if you talk to anyone who went fly fishing."
In fact, fly fishing became a punchline.
"In the little brochure they sent, there was a picture of a man fly fishing in the mountains, and one of the guys was like, 'Where did they get this picture of the mountains? The mountains are three hours away,'" a Western Conference player said.
Why would ESPN make an article that consists of players whining about not being able to do their favourite activities? Is playing NHL 21 not enough for them?

and if they do move to Quebec, the NHL wouldn't need to change anything.
They have Seattle in the Western conference, so relocation without realignment is possible.

They didn't take enough money away from the fire fighters and teachers to pay them?
Or they didn't use the money properly? I mean, even if it were rich, that money isn't always guaranteed to spend well.
Either way, Arizona needs an owner change or risk relocation.- 1

That sucks. Because otherwise, I'd love to pair this with the Ads current colour scheme, but I knew it didn't turn out well. I could try darkening the light blue part to at least give it a little bit contrast to cream.
