  1. I get this sentiment, but TBH even if they come up with a great name, it still wont feel right. Putting all debate of racism to the side, they are forever etched in my brain as the (Washington Football Team). That is kind of why i actually like "the football team." Giving them a different name at this point feels so gimmicky to me. As if they need a name just to make sure they have a mascot and so they can plaster an animal head on the helmet.
  2. Ummmmm Cardinals.... we are all waiting...
  3. Your point about the mix-match chaos is 100% valid. BUT, I can think of a bunch of other teams that I would love a alternate helmet. For starters: Rams (anything but their primary) Cardinals (red helmet would be cool) Titans (white) Seahawks (gray) Patriots Buffalo (red) And that's just off the top of my head. My only hesitation is that I feel like the NFL helmet is sort of more sacred than the uniform. Maybe it was collecting them from the gumball machine when i was a kid or something. But it sort of takes away from how special they are if teams have more than one.
  4. I actually said to myself that it reminds me of the Cards road uniforms with the navy blue caps.
  5. Colors - 9/10 Crest - 6/10 Name - 3/10 That being said, as a St. Louisan sports nut, I'm sure I will be buying merch by the end of the day
  6. I submitted a photo of myself before they they closed it off, but never heard if I'm out there somewhere... hopefully my mug is in the stands somewhere!
  7. I'm with you. I personally love it, but that's because I have been eating it for over 30 years. Everyone likes the pizza they grew up on. I think it is funny how divisive pizza styles are with people, especially provel cheese.
  8. Thanks for the info. I honestly had no idea. Well I guess the dream is over haha
  9. What did Charles LIndbergh do that would upset people? Honest to god, I have no idea... just curious
  10. I have always wanted a St. Louis team to be named the Spirits of St. Louis. Not sure if it would fit for an MLS team, but that is such a great part of St. Louis history between Charles LIndbergh and the ABA team.
