Jimmy Smith NOT in a Jaguars uniform

Don't know if I can find a picture, but here's one I absolutely know was a one-time only matchup- Carolina Panthers vs. Houston Oilers, November 1996.

These jerseys never saw the field at the same time head-to-head because they only coincided one year:

Only time those Lions uniforms played the Titans (By the time they met in 2005, Detroit had a completely new look) Also, 2003-2004 were the only time those Lions unis clashed with the Cardinals old look

Pre-RBK BuffaSlugs vs. the last year of these Flames jerseys (Replaced Horse head wit Alberta flag for RBK Edge) Come to think of it, the 2006-07 Slug Sabres played a lot of teams that wore specific jersey styles for the last time that season. So they had multiple one-time only uni marchups: Boston Colorado Edmonton Nashville NY Islanders Calgary

2000-2001 were the only years these unis clashed.

A double whammy

Here's an NBA one-season only matchup: First year for those Heat unis, last year for those Suns unis

The Jacksonville Jaguars wore three different uniforms the last three times they played the Arizona Cardinals

The only such matchup of these unis. 2011-12 was the first year of those Tampa uniforms- didn't meet in the 2013 lockout-shortened year, and when they next played each other, Dallas had overhauled their unis.

Last year of those Kings jerseys, first of a few years in which Anaheim had those alternates

Last year of those Canucks jerseys, only year Sabres wore those colors pre-RBK Edge (This was also a one year jersey considering BUF's classic look would look completely different when it was reintroduced years later). Buffalo had never worn the old-school blue/yellow colors in the years Vancouver had that specific jersey.

Fun fact- Ortiz's first clutch October hit actually came as a Twin. Game 5, 2002 ALDS. Twins were up 4-1 on an AJ Pierzynski 2-run HR. Ortiz hit an RBI double that proved crucial. In the bottom of the 9th, Mark Ellis hit a 3-run HR. If Ortiz hadn't come through, Oakland ties the game and who knows what happens.

The Coyotes desert unis were one of the coolest unis in the league. They went from one of the most unique looks to one of the lamest.

This one doesn't seem rare, but in the 3 seasons these jerseys coincided, the Penguins only wore that black uni twice against the Blues here and once in 1997-98 (I did some research for this one- when the Pens played at Kiel Center in 1995-96 and 1996-97, they wore the old diagonal PITTSBURGH jerseys)
