With how much revenue COULD be generated from merch sales, I still remind shocked at how few teams test conceptual designs with fan engagement. Anyone who has worked in design know how often bad designs come from meddling clients who have no real conception about art.

Knights jerseys tonight don't have an ad on them. They specifically unveiled the ads on the gold jersey They HAVE been on the jerseys in pre-season, but only the pre-season games in Vegas. My only guess is that the ad deal is tied to when they actually wear the jerseys at home (tonights game is in LA and LA is wearing their 3rds)

How has no one posted this yet, it leaked like 12 hours ago. Also, kinda weird, since they are phasing down the orange and ditched the navy all together in their regular jerseys again. I was just expecting a white version with royal blue

Worked at EA Sports on the jersey authenticity side OUAT. Marketing departments and players with special gear would know about a 6-months year in advance. The jersey updates would be in our system before the previous season would even end. Don't work there anymore, so can't provide any other info sadly. I have been tipped off the Leafs are likely going to wear the St Pats jerseys once a year going forward. Probably around St Pat's day, but I think that was already loosely leaked somewhere else

They nearly have the most banners in the entire NHL, yet the original incarnation of the Jets only won a 7-game series just one time in their existence.

The owner said changing the jerseys was one of his first priorities. Not sure it will get done for this season, but by next year it should be done

Lions owner was doing some interviews this week and hinted the Lions jerseys will be changing sooner than later and expect the Lions to wear at least one new or retro jersey this year.
