It's just frustrating because last year they actually committed to wearing burgundy pants with their white jerseys. They refuse to even do that this year and it's made a bad uniform even worse.

Apparently, for the second consecutive week, Washington has decided to match a beautiful throwback theme with... all white.

Navy tops should be the home uniform if they insist on this set. The orange uniform is one of the most drab, uninspiring, dull uses of the color orange I have ever seen.

I just want to know what genius decided to make navy leggings the only pants/sock look for both the home and road jerseys after Brady left. Actually one of the dumbest uniform decisions ever.

Absolute beauty of a matchup in Buffalo right now.

The two change I would make to the current Bucs uniforms are to lighten the shade of pewter (it's way too dark and the pewter pants sometimes blend into the black socks from a distance) and use the original pirate flag logo. Otherwise they seem to suit the franchise well. Just please wear the creamisicles at least once a year. Don't let that completely die out.

Happy about this combo, but the replies to this tweet are embarrassing. All the Ravens fans apparently want all black or all purple. Hopefully the Ravens don't listen to all that noise and continue to dress like a proper team.

Yeah, it only makes sense that this switch back to the current red jersey was planned even before the season because no one in their right mind would've made that decision after seeing the reaction and feedback to the throwback reds. I hope they get it right in 2025-26.

Lou would have never allowed the "Jersey" jersey either. It is funny how the current Devils are the complete opposite of what Lou's teams stood for. They're one of the fastest, most skilled groups in the NHL that relies on scoring to win games. Their weak spot is goaltending, which is insane for a team that once employed Martin Brodeur. So it kind of adds up that the team went through that mini-rebrand.

So their rationale was that the stripes wouldn't be seen anyway. Huh. Thank you to whoever decided to place hem stripes flat across so that they can be seen, even with tucked jerseys.

I'm actually glad the current uniform doesn't have pewter socks (except obviously for the Color Rush) because it means we don't get pewter leggings.

Fair. I more wanted to use the opportunity to criticize the early Reebok Edge jerseys. On another note, I can't believe that the Sens went so long (even went to a final) with this set:

And the reason they got rid of the blue jersey is so dumb. It's because of superstition. They lost Super Bowl V and the 1980 NFC Championship Game in the blue, so they introduced a navy jersey for 1981 that started them on the path toward the mismatch of today. I guess the shade of royal on the white jersey also got lighter as time went on. That's why today's white jersey looks so weird within the overall color scheme. It was designed to be paired with a completely different jersey that hasn't existed in over 40 years.

I think that was mostly due to Reebok's 2007 obsession with removing hem stripes for no apparent reason. At least Original Six teams (with the exception of the Leafs) were safe from that trend, but it affected like half of the league. Not to mention the most boring designs I've ever seen, courtesy of Dallas and Edmonton:

Sometimes I'd rather have wacky, lighter colors than boring.
