  1. Not to mention Washington is wearing white against them in Week 18 at FedEx Field. Plus, they most likely would have been in navy visting Miami if not for the fact that Miami chose that game as one of their throwback games.
  2. You don't want to see the death of color uniforms? I feel like traditional white uniforms are far more endangered than color uniforms (traditional white uniforms being white uniforms that aren't white unitards). I've said this before and I'll say it again, royal blue >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> navy blue. There has to be balance between white and color uniforms. The Cowboys and color vs color games are just at opposite ends of the spectrum. (By the way, I'm pretty sure the Cowboys are confirmed to be wearing your beloved navy jersey on Sunday. I haven't seen a tweet about it, but GUD has them in navy and it's typically pretty accurate.)
  3. I'm personally not much of a fan of color vs color because I see how it's completely tanked the uniform respectability of the NBA. I'm fine with it once or twice a season, but I don't want to see the death of white uniforms in favor of a rotating cast of color jerseys and BFBS alternates.
  4. Would like to see how this combo would look against a team that isn't predominantly orange.
  5. I strongly dislike grey jerseys in any sport besides baseball. Such a dull color. Grey jerseys often just end up looking like white jerseys with an inferior color base.
  6. Yeah, I never understood the 2013 rebrand. Their uniforms without the hurricane pattern didn't really have any character to them.
  7. Not trying to make fun of the edit (it's very good) but the modern eagle head looks kind of goofy on a full-size bird to me
  8. Yeah, I love when goalies nowadays use pad designs that are just bold blocks of color like 80s-90s designs
  9. The Tennessee Oilers didn't have many fans. The Titans didn't establish much of a foothold until they became the Titans. There are two fanbases: One in Houston that hates them and the very existence of this throwback, and one in Tennessee that probably doesn't feel much of a connection to this throwback. I fail to see any motivation for bringing back the Oilers uniforms on the Titans' part besides (A) money, (B) money, and (C) sticking it to Houston.
  10. lmao I'm not even a Houston fan. I just think that screwing over a city and moving a team out of ego and spite means that you should be forced to surrender that identity. The part that really cemented to me that this is all out of spite is the fact that they're wearing these throwbacks against the Texans later this year. Call me salty and bitter and whatever, I don't care. I know my opinion on a message board about sports uniforms won't change anything. I just like voicing my opinions here. And my opinion on these throwbacks is not a positive one. I doubt many Titans fans have much of a connection to the Oilers identity. When they were the Tennessee Oilers, they inexplicably spent a season in Memphis, which alienated both Memphis and Nashville and led to a sense of apathy that wasn't really solved until their first season as the Titans, which saw a new stadium, the Music City Miracle, and a trip to the Super Bowl. The Tennessee Oilers aren't really an era to be celebrated.
  11. The Titans do not deserve to wear these uniforms, I will die on this hill.
  12. There's your answer. All of New England would riot if they changed uniforms in the middle of the dynasty and the Patriots proceeded to suffer a big playoff loss.
  13. I don't really care what the owners think. Just wear the best looking uniforms at all times. What uniforms are the "best" can change from person to person, but marketing and owner/front office preference are my least favorite justifications for uniform decisions.
  14. I love how so many teams based in the Pacific Northwest have a blue/green color scheme: Seahawks Mariners Canucks Kraken (more of a seafoam green color)
  15. My favorite is the Jets -- only subtle differences with the primary look but somehow every single one is an improvement
  16. I don't know. I feel like this uniform was such a bad idea that you really can't salvage it. At the very least, the cure for a bad BFBS uniform is not more black. And I was more poking fun at the "Indiana Nights" uniform debuting in the sunlight.
  17. I disagree with every single word you just said. Adding black to a color scheme that previously didn't have black or made minimal use of it usually ends poorly. I'd say it ended poorly for both of these teams.
  18. At the very least, the Colts could have closed the roof so that there wouldn't be sunlight hitting the "Indiana Nights" uniform
  19. Painted end zones are cool, but if you're going to switch between painted and unpainted, I like what the 49ers do where they only paint it for the playoffs: The red end zones bring an extra level of prestige. Regular Season: Playoffs:
  20. The texture is kind of cool. But it's been applied to such a train wreck that I can't really critique it.
