I said teams who previously wore white jerseys/uniform at home, in their own stadium and not counting a neutral site game such as the Super Bowl. I excluded Seattle because they hadn't done it prior.
We'll find out if it will be the case in week 3 when they play Carolina. Teams wearing their white tops at home to honor/celebrate a championship might become more of a thing. The Giants did it two years ago against the Rams. And the Rams did this last year when they opened against the Bills.
To be fair, the Rams have made it a tradition to go white at home in the home opener (they sorta did it with "bone" in 2020, and then did it with the current white the last three seasons).

Jon Bois did a documentary on Nobis? I mainly know him as the creator of the enigmatic Clarence BEEFTANK.
It's the History of the Atlanta Falcons documentary. Nobis gets a brief mention in the first episode.

Seahawks confirmed to be wearing white at home for the first time ever. I thought it was pretty cool that the Seahawks were the only team to never go wah but I guess the person who decides the uniforms doesn’t feel the same way as me
What a dumb combo for a home game. I don't have a problem with white at home, but I really hate white with yoga pants at home. Titans and Rams were guilty of it last week.

Did you know that before the Jon Bois documentary?

Going from yellow to black was a great way to remove any and all character from an already characterless building.
Have to wonder if it got changed partly because it doesn't match the Celtics' color scheme at all

Oh my god, I only just realized the helmet stripe doesn't match the pants stripe. How do you mess up something so simple lmao
The helmet in the original uniform didn't even have stripes. How do you mess up the striping like that?

Yeah, the white helmet just looks weird to me. The uniforms themselves are good enough, but that set as a whole…meh. The orange helmet works much better for them.
I thought that uniform looked really nice in the last couple of seasons with an orange helmet. I thought the white helmet would look good, it just came out looking boring on the field.

Saints vs Panthers is as awful as expected...
Primetime games in 2023 are either a showcase for beautiful throwbacks (e.g. Jets last week and Patriots yesterday) or
vs
The Browns could fit into both categories.

These new Cardinals uniforms just stink, they're both boring and ugly at the same time. I don't miss the piping at all, but what a missed opportunity to not create something that's good.
Still wondering how they decided that (A) they need a wordmark and (B) it needs to be that massive.

The current Chargers uniforms are not the best they've ever looked, they're not the best in the league (my perhaps biased take is that that honor goes to the 49ers), and it's not particularly close. Putting the awful mono-blue color rush combinations aside,
- The number font is mediocre (not as bad as the last set's numbers but still inferior to regular block)
- They removed TV numbers in exchange for helmet numbers
- The gold pants combos should look good but are dragged down by the mismatch with the helmet
- The powder blue just looks off. I can't really explain this one that well, but it doesn't quite look like Chargers powder blue.
I think they should have kept the throwbacks that they wore in 2009 (my pick for best Chargers uniforms in history), adding a blue stripe around the lightning bolts on the pants would have made them perfect.

@canzman Niners vs Giants, Chiefs vs Bears, and Steelers vs Raiders will all be beautiful on-field match-ups this coming weekend.
I actually wish the Niners would just wear their regular home jerseys on Thursday and save the throwbacks for the Cowboys. It would introduce more color to a very red matchup (I also wish the Giants still had grey pants).

Wouldn’t be surprised if Washington went WAH
Washington already announced in their uniform schedule that they're wearing burgundy against the Bills

What’s the marketing speak for the 5 arm stripes and 3 hem stripes?
5: The game that they should have clinched last year's series
3: The number of consecutive losses they had to close out that series

Except for the two jagoffs on the Patriots wearing red socks when the rest of the team is wearing white ones.
(Unpopular opinion?) The red socks are an improvement.

You'll get to see the uniform matchup you want in the second meeting. Or were you wanting to see how the matchup looked in SoFi Stadium?
No, my point was that it seems that the Rams are committed to wearing blue pants when they wear their white jerseys against the Niners and I doubt they'll wear yellow pants in the January meeting either

You're wearing this combo again? At home?? Embarrassing. I was looking forward to finally getting Rams in white with yellow pants against 49ers red.

I'm sorry, on the scale of Bruins jerseys these are so incredibly mid. Shiny gold, too many stripes, shiny gold, only one shoulder patch, shiny gold, and black socks on the home jersey. The Bruins took a swing and whiffed.
For next season, either put the new spoked B on the 80s uniforms or go with the standard design of the last 15 years. This just ain't it.

And the Seahawks confirmed white over navy. It’s been the same exact uniform pairing all four times these teams have played in Detroit since the Seahawks got their new uniforms. I was hoping for at least one team to wear something different.
For the Lions: if it ain't broke, don't fix it
For the Seahawks: wear gray pants instead please

The Yankees' shade of navy is indistinguishable from black. The Bears, Braves, and Tigers all would look better in black as well. I'm not saying they should change to black because that would break long-standing tradition. But aesthetically, it would look a lot better in all of those cases.
I get the spirit of this part, but it's absolute heresy.
I will say, the sport that has the least use for navy blue is hockey, because playing on a white playing surface does lead to the issue you're describing here, where the navy becomes indistinguishable from black.

I can’t take anyone seriously who thinks that black and brick is less drab than orange and navy.
In a vacuum the Astros do have a pretty bland scheme right now, but I think they use it well. The orange alternate and the navy alternate with the rainbow striping make it seem a lot less bland.

It's been the Bears number font since 1950. It doesn't need to change.
Real question, how did the Bears even end up with that font in the 50s? Few other teams ever had custom fonts until the 90s.

Black primary jerseys are the least distinctive jersey color, no matter the rest of the scheme. Not sure what you're talking about.
