So...somehow, we're here...where somehow, someway, with Texas no longer available, the best consolation prize for the Pac 12 is, of all places, SMU.
It would be funny if Texas becomes the new ACC Miami and not win the SEC for 2 decades after being the biggest and most lucrative team in the Big 12 while SMU excels like their Fort Worth counterpart has since getting the Big 12 invite

I so hope TB doesn’t make the playoffs, simply because you always have to expect Brady to win as long as he’s on the field, and after the way they smashed the Eagles last year, even though Phila’s roster is significantly better and Hurts has matured, I’m not looking forward to any rematch.
I’d say that since the game would be in PHL that the Eagles would have a huge advantage… but the last time the Eagles were supposed to have an insurmountable home-field advantage against TB in the playoffs, it didn’t go so well.
True
I think the Eagles will not go undefeated, I can see them losing in December, either to Giants or Cowboys, but it would be best anyway because it would be too much pressure on getting a perfect record

I underestimated the Bucs *sigh* and Tom Brady now just can think about football being divorced now.
Better hope someone like Philly, Giants can knock them out or Dallas and Minnesota exorcise their playoff demons before Brady goes to another SB.

Vandy won an SEC game! After 26 tries and 3 years the Commodores win a conference game for the 1st time since 2019
Edit: someone beat me to it -

Elon is running Twitter to the ground
Zaslav is running Warner Bros to the ground
Netflix ending password sharing which is going to drive them to the ground
Let's not get started on Meta (Facebook)

I get that the PAC-12 is trying to get into the Dallas market, but why go into a school that got the death penalty years ago?
TCU's taken and UNT? No way. May as well take SMU..

Could have also thrown in the Mariners (along with Pirates, Reds and A's on my post 2 days ago) but at least they broke their long playoff drought and brought happiness to the Pacific Northwest after a nightmarish 21 year wait.
The Royals made it to two World Series in my lifetime (winning 1) and the Brewers made a couple NLCSes. Hell even the Marlins, even though they are still rubbish and made 1 postseason appearance in the Covid 2020 season, got two World Series (1 of them over the Yankees)

Yep, I agree with everyone here, a whole accident waiting to happen

Seattle vs. Tampa Bay (upset special in Germany! Bucs got lucky last week they will have to play better against Seattle)
Detroit vs. Chicago
Cleveland vs. Miami

Houston vs. NY Giants (avenge my fallen Yankees, smash 'em Giants)
Jacksonville vs. Kansas City
New Orleans vs. Pittsburgh
Indianapolis vs. Las Vegas
Arizona vs. LA Rams
Dallas vs. Green Bay (Cowboys conquer their house of horrors)
LA Chargers vs. San Francisco
Washington vs. Philadelphia

Pitchers and catchers fly in and report to Bradenton February 15. That team will be mathematically and realistically eliminated from playoff contention before the first plane even reports long final for approach.
Feels like it has been the case for decades (except a 3 year stretch in 2013-2015). 1992 NLCS and Bonds leaving broke them.

Raiders are losing 7-0 to the Colts after the 1st Quarter, the latter coached by Jeff Saturday who has literally never coached.
