  1. I dunno. Tennessee and Alabama, Georgia and Auburn, Miami and Florida State, North Carolina and NC State, and Maryland and Virginia seem to hate each other as much as always and they aren't in the same division. So long as the game is played annually, the rivalry should remain. /Why are protected rivalry games such a hard concept to grasp? Good question. The Big Tewhatever wouldn't let the game die and now there is a possibility of having it and it's money making abilities twice.
  2. By at-large do you mean the 4 non-conference games or the 3 games they play against teams from the other division? The Big Whatever-they'll-call-themselves will not allow Ohio State and Michigan to schedule each other as one of those. And I assume the conference will create a scheduling method like the SEC and ACC (I'm not sure if the Big 12 does it this way) where each school has a permanent crossover partner that they play every season (ex. FSU-Miami) and rotate through through they other 5 teams in the opposite division 2 per season. Either way, crossover or no, the schools wouldn't schedule each other, the league would.
  3. So true. I follow FSU closely and cant even remember
  4. So because Berkeley and Colorado embrace counterculture lifestyles they're just a bunch of liberal nut cases? You do realize that, despite their acceptance of other lifestyles, they're still two of the top schools in the country, right? lol Bigotry meet logic.
  5. Anyone have the zip file (or the ability to send me a zip file) of Roger Clemente's numbers and letters? I've been looking for it since Geocities went down.
  6. I do think that if the Big 10 adds a team it will come from the Big East, most likely SU or Pitt. And Notre Dame is more than just basketball in the Big East, it is basically every sport but Football. Also, do not count out UB from the Big East competition if they do expand. They are a great academic university, they have an expanding campus and student body, and bring a large market to the Big East, Buffalo, NY. Marshall brings a small town. However, Memphis and UAB do bring a large market, but I believe that UB and Memphis will be front runners because they are more in the Big East Territory. Don't count out Navy, Army, UCF and ECU. I believe they have a shot also, UCF could be the front runner because of their huge market and student base. That would make the UCF-USF "rivalry" a conference game, too. USF seems like they don't want to play UCF but not a "Oh, we're scared of them thing" but rather a "We're Big East, we don't have time for the CUSA UCF." They even claimed they only scheduled the games as a part of their exit agreement with CUSA. I don't think they'd fight it, but they wouldn't die to have it. ==== A lot of my friends that are Louisville fans keep saying it'll likely be U of L or Cinci but honestly, I hadn't heard those rumors prior to today.
