As promised, here are the results of the 2016 National Championship Playoffs.

The biggest surprise of the playoffs were the #14 Bronx Bruins knocking off both #6 Hawaii State and #3 Nebraska State before falling to the #2 Nashville Brigadiers who went on to win it all.

I know this is football, but should we expect to see different sports out of this project? Hockey, baseball, basketball maybe? That would be pretty cool! Other than that, this series is gorgeous!

Maybe in the future, but as it is, this is already a HUGE project.

Up next we head to the Michigan Division of the MWAC (Mid Western Athletic Conference) which is similar in some ways to the Big 10. The Detroit Thunder have an interesting look to them with a chest stripe, which is not often seen on football uniforms.

If you've followed my work for a while, you may have seen the next team already. Up next are the Michigan A&M Threshers. The team gets its name from its hometown (my hometown too where I went to middle and high school) Climax, MI being the place where the corn harvester (threshing machinery) was invented. Because of it being both the name of agricultural machinery and a shark, the two ideas are combined into one logo. The Threshers use a 1950 throwback uniform against their former rivals Western Michigan.

A real professional logo and uniform set, but I think it might take too much from the Pelicans.

It was definitely inspired by them. Perhaps it's a bit close.

Up next to finish off the Michigan Division, we have the UPU Falcons. They have a classic look but bring out throwbacks against their rivals, Muskegon State.

Ok, last one for today because I have to take my son to fencing practice (now that's a fun sport to watch!), we now head to the Southern Division of the MWAC where we start with the Chicago Christian Crusaders with their very traditional look.

Up next are the Fort Wayne Cougars. I have to be honest, they get their color scheme form the New Jersey Devils. They wear their Red and Green most games, but save their Red and Black for special ones.
