Technically, the 1980 Phillies isn't correct either. Like the Flyers have subtle - yet distinct - differences between their official logo and sweater crest, the Phillies did for their caps too, up until around the '87 changes. There were actually a few variations, likely due to manufacturer issues, but no version from that era ever matched the logo.
