NJTank
What runner tripped Gold Medal Favorite Mary Decker Slaney in the 1984 Olympics, what event did this famous incident occur in?
Stampman
Depending who you believe nobody tripped her per se--it was more of a collision...Weird thing is I watched that but can't remember who it was--but it was one of the longer distance races I believe--So I claim .000000000001% of the correct answer... Saintsfan
Mary Decker fell over Zola Budd, no tripping was involved! Budd was born a South African but was granted a Briotish passport in order to compete in LA.And Decker was a cry baby! Her husband was Richard Slaney, a British hammer thrower (I think it was hammer!) and I assume it was the 3000m from memory.
