crkraider22 Posted July 6, 2021 Share Posted July 6, 2021 After having the season to digest the Reverse Retro program, I put together a few options for the Penguins. First off is a throwback to the Pittsburgh Pirates used from 1925-28. Next, a look from the 77-80 seasons featuring navy with gold replacing the baby blue on the jerseys. A third concept revisits the gradient-striped jersey first seen in 1995 and used through the 2002 season but with the colors reversed making white the base color. Finally, a combination of the home and road uniforms from the 2000-2002 seasons where the Penguins feautred different logos on each jersey. This take uses the shoulders from the white robo-pigeon jersey, combined with the sleeve and hem striping from the vegas gold skating penguin.
