Breakwood
Well My local Jr. A Hockey team formally the Milton Merchants have changed their name and logo from to . Personally I like the new logo even though im not a fan of the name IceHawks. What are your thoughts?
DEAD!
Pretty good! I would suggest that the swoop on the beak be removed. It looks like some birth defect on the bird. Or, at least make it a different colour such as white on the right side of the logo.As for the name, Icehawks, perhaps they should just name them the Penguins! I saw, I came, I left. nitroseed
I would agree. The swoosh attaching itself to the beak looks very unnatural. Overall, though, it's a great logo. It's difficult to find a new way to render a hawk's head after it's been done a hundred different ways already.
STL FANATIC
Yeah, the swoosh is weird and the colors silver, black, and red don't lend itself to a name like IceHawks (blue would help), but it's a pretty good logo overall. BrentyN3
Certainly a lot better than the Canucks looking logo they used to have. NASCAR. Done. |
Phil
If that were an ibis instead of a hawk, that'd be one interesting Miami Hurricanes logo. That's what I thought when a saw the circular swoosh thing they've got going on. I, like most of you, don't like the swoosh coming straight off his beak, but it's more than a decent logo for a Junior A team, and a nice improvement over the Merchants.
