Need Some Critique

Hey guys, I came up with this logo tonight and wanted to run it by you for some critiquing. It is for my fantasy hockey league. The team is the Santa Cruz Carcharadons (scientific name for a Great White shark) and it is symbolic of the deadly "Red Triangle" that runs from San Fran to Monterey along Cali's coast and is notorious for great white attacks. Just let me know what u think and what I need to fix.

Ah yes, Carcharodon carcharias. This is a good start. It's an odd perspective, and I'd like to see how it works on a jersey or something before passing complete judgement. But it's certainly a good start.

the uniform i had in mind for this logo will resemble the Washington Capitals "checkmark" uniform, slightly modified, with the above logo tilted a tad to follow the flow of the jersey cut, but this is just whats flying around in my head, i havent begun piecing out uniforms for this specific logo yet. I am going to make a secondary mark first, probably something using a great white tooth....

I love the symbolism of it. Dont tilt it though, it would look like a Triangle that has been sewn on wrong or something. i think it would look good straight and would show the triangle well.

its a bit big lol i like it though try a lighter blue on the outline....

i like the perspective...the last thing you see before losing a limb kinda deal

OK guys. Thanks for all the criticism and such. I finally completed the sedondary mark and the uniform set to let you guys chew on. Let me know what u think.

The secondary mark is excellent (though I'm not sold on the typeface), but I'm not digging anything else. The sharks body looks to be amputated and the lines on the underside are too roundish and pillowy for the subject matter.
