My First Concept

I entered this into the contest stickied above but since it was my first ever concept, I decided that I should post it in the main area for people to critique and give me a direction with my work in an overall sense. Everyone may not look at that sticky above so I thought this would get more views...

I did Southern Utah, but changed the whole color scheme. The Thunderbird mascot made me think Chargers- which is why I went with throwback Chargers colors.

I gotta say I like these quite a bit. Very nice for a first concept.

Colors are good and well balanced. Uniforms are simple and clean.

Just a few minor suggestions: Right now the logo on the helmet seems a tad small and pushed to the front. Perhaps try simplifying the stripes to allow for a slightly bigger logo. Also, maybe a dark blue outline around the yellow outline on the home numbers will make them pop more.
