Miami had the better record? How was home field determined then and when did it change to best record?Another question that always bothered me was why was Super Bowl 8 played at Rice Stadium? Why didn't they play it in the Astrodome?
NJTank
Back then the AFC & NFC Championship was awarded on a rotating basis it was the AFC Central turn to host it, ridiculous huh? It didnt becoem best record for anopther 4 or 5 years I think. I dont know why Super BOwl VIII was at Rice Stadium either I guess they didnt want to be in a dome at that time. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
