Phillies retired numbers

Now that the Phanatic is in the Mascot Hall will they retire his number?

Can you retire a star?

Also, I think that Dave Raymond (the original Phillie Phanatic I'm pretty sure) has something to do with that mascot hall-of-fame. Not that the Phanatic doesn't deserve entry in a HOF, but I think there's a little "funny business" going on here.

If you can retire a block "P", and an Olde English "P", you can absolutely retire a star. But not 'til he's retired. Does Dave Raymond get his star retired for being "the Phanatic's Phriend" (so cheezy, but that's his captioned title during interviews about the Phanatic)?

BBTV... I'm researching as quickly as I can, trying to keep up. ^_^

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

They retired the block P and the old English P (man, how sweet would they look wearing that logo again) but in CBP there is no reference to Klein or G.C.A. It's like they ceased to exist once the team left the Vet.
