IronChefShark
Best current stripes in the NFL: not to mention one of the best uniforms in the NFLwhy would anyone be so stupid as to ditch it in favor of powder blue jerseys and white helmets? Korkie
I love the powder blue jerseys, but can't stand the helmets, but I love everything about the current Chargers look and see no reason to mess with it. Using the powder blues once or twice a year is fine with me.Also, looking at that Scott Zolak picture, I completely forgot the Patriots wore those. They look so awful compared to the Pat Patriot days and the current sets. They just look halfass and cheap, like high school unis or something. Not so much playing it, but more the designing and sewing of uniforms.Tyler: That's neat.Dr. Kelso: No, it's not.
edensker
I have been railing against stripeless pants for years, despite my friends just rolling their eyes when I do so.Stripes are an absolute must for all uniforms except for teams that wear gold pants, like Notre Dame and UCLA. In addition, the stripes must be "normal," with either one or two thin or relatively thin straight vertical stripes. The following are not permitted:1. Extreme thickness, like Kansas is wearing this year and the Saints have worn in the past;2. Multiple colors;3. Tapering, swirling, swooping or anything remotely Broncos-like.The only exceptions to these rules are Air Force and the San Diego Chargers.
