Phillies Improbable Comebacks

Friday night, the Phillies score 5 in the top of the ninth, and come back from 10-6 to beat the Reds 11-10. This, after blowing a 6-1 lead after 4½.

A week ago Saturday, the Phillies go into the top of the ninth at Florida down 2-0. Dontrelle Willis is working on a CG shutout. Marlins melt down, commit four errors in the inning, Phils plate 10, and perhaps dealt the knockout blow to the Marlins' chances in 2005.

Both rallies started with Jimmy Rollins getting on base. He's strung together a 28-game hitting streak during this Phils' push to the pennant.

So I pose a few questions:

1) Which comeback was more improbable?

2) Can the Phillies catch the Astros? 1 back with 8 to play ...

3) Is it more likely that the Phillies catch Atlanta than San Francisco catch the Padres? Either way, neither's a likelihood.

4) Who's finishing second to Ryan Howard in NL ROtY voting?

Phillies have also put NLDS tickets on sale today.

I wouldnt say they won the second one nearly as much as the Marlins lost it. I didn't see the game, but based on the errors, the Phillies gave 'em chances to end the game.

EDIT: I should answer the questions...

1) The second one.

2) Yes they can. But I don't think they will.

3) I'd say the Giants scenario is the more likely one.

4) Francouer should beat out Howard, imo.
