Mr. Wang
Can some explain why certain schools are considered "Nike Elite" while others are "Nike". I know this started a few years back, and I was wondering what the criteria is to be considered "Elite".
NickSixers
If I understand correctly, a Nike (basketball) school becomes Nike Elite if they have reached the Final Four since the Nike Team Sports division was formed (I don't remember the year.) I'm sure someone else will have a more thorough explanation.
Michigan Dave
If I understand correctly, a Nike (basketball) school becomes Nike Elite if they have reached the Final Four since the Nike Team Sports division was formed (I don't remember the year.) I'm sure someone else will have a more thorough explanation. Sadly, I can attest this isn't the case: Oh, NTS started with College Football in 1995. MJWalker45
If they ever did anything while wearing nike, which Michigan did in the early 90's, they are considered Elite.
