STL FANATIC
Yeah, but they are 5-0 this year in gold pants, and 0-2 in blue. I suppose you could say that it's unfair since they said that they won't go blue on blue, but still, they're 1-0 in gold with white, and 0-2 with blue and white. The gold are just better looking anyway. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
philly97flyer
ok heres my idea for ot: each team gets 3 time outs, and its a 10 minute NON sudden death extra period. still tied after, its just a tie.
X-Man
When the Rams switched to the new unis, Martz said that Georgia Frontiere had some uni combination she wanted them to wear, and he had to veto it because it was too fruity. Does anyone else remember this, and know what it was - white/white? white/gold?
yh
When the Rams switched to the new unis, Martz said that Georgia Frontiere had some uni combination she wanted them to wear, and he had to veto it because it was too fruity. Does anyone else remember this, and know what it was - white/white? white/gold?When the Rams changed uni's in 2000 there were 3 sets of pants created - the solid gold pants, white pants with a gold stripe that tapered to a point right above the kneeline and blue pants with a gold stripe that tapered in the same fashion. The blue pants were never used. The white pants were used one time in a 2000 preseason game in San Diego (used with the white jersey). Martz did not care for the blue or white pants because he felt the stripe made the players look like they were carrying sabers in their belts. Although never confirmed, people who claim to be "in the know" said that Martz had made off-the-record comments suggesting that he didn't want his team looking like "a bunch of fruity pirates."
