VitaminD Posted November 9, 2005 Share Posted November 9, 2005 Not sure that Chicago's "other team" ( !) would want to use a script wordmark on its road uniforms.The White Sox have used a script font for their road jerseys for over a decade, and winning the World Series has increased the visibility of the White Sox. Given that both teams wear pinstripes at home, with a logo on the left chest and no wordmarks, I'd guess that the Cubs would like to keep their distance and use non-script wordmarks for "Chicago" on their road unis.It's not that your concept doesn't look good. But at least to me, when I see a script "Chicago", I think White Sox first, not Cubs. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it...
