MLB Managers of the Year Named

The National League Manager of the Year is... the Atlanta Braves' Bobby Cox, who led a team that played 29 rookies at one point or another to the playoffs for the 14th straight season.

The American League Manager of the Year is... The Chicago White Sox' Ozzie Guillen, who led his team all the way to an unexpected AL Central crown and the World Series championship after an 88-year-drought.

Both stories are up on MLB.com!

The idea is to report the story. Many argued Phil Garner deserved it for taking the Astros to their first World Series ever, so obviously there was debate about it. Geez.

So's Terry Francona, but that didn't stop him from winning a World Series.

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

That's BS. It only took Charlie Manual two months to remember that there's no DH in the National League. He even made a couple of double-switches in August. If he doesn't deserve this award, nobody does. It's that damned Atlanta bias.
