Baseball Memorial Award: Busch Stadium II

Best Baseball Moment: Final out of 2005 WS.

Football Player Of The Year: Peyton Manning, IND Colts

Football Game Of The Year: Super Bowl 39 Pats/Eagles

Best football moment: Adam Viniteri GW Field Goal SB 39

Football Team Of The Year: New England Patriots

Football Memorial Award: Wellington Mara (NY Giants Owner)

Best Hockey Moment of The Year: The End of the NHL Lockout!

*Not many hockey awards, since there was no NHL season.

Best Basketball Player Of The Year: Tim Duncan, SA Spurs

Basketball Game Of The Year: Game 5 (2005 NBA Finals)

Best Basketball Team: Miami Heat

Basketball Memorial Award: Reggie Miller

Best Basketball Moment: Larry Brown leaving Detroit to coach the Knicks.

Baseball Reg Season Game Of The Year: Couldn't tell you, but I really enjoyed Baltimore vs. LAA when I went to that game

Baseball Post Season Game Of The Year: Game 4 ATL/HOU

Baseball Team Of The Year: St. Louis Cardinals

Baseball Memorial Award: Busch Stadium

Best Baseball Moment: Darin Erstad running over Johnny Estrada *bias alert again*

Football Player Of The Year: Peyton Manning

Football Game Of The Year: I'll give it to the Superbowl...I enjoyed it

Best football moment: Vinatieri's GW FG in the Superbowl

Football Team Of The Year: Detroit Lions...ha! I'll give it to Indy

Football Memorial Award: Reggie White

I'll fill out the NHL as far as what's gone on thus far this half

Hockey Player of the Year: Peter Forsberg...Gagne is clearly nothing wiithout him

Hockey Game of the Year: the 21 round shootout ended by Malik

Best Hockey Moment: Obviously the return of the league

Hockey Team of the Year: Detroit Red Wings *bias, although deserving, alert*

Hockey Memorial Award: I can't think of anyone who's died or anything in the game of hockey, but Jiri Fischer's career may be over.

Best Basketball Player Of The Year: Amare Stoudemire *bias, although I don't watch basketball, alert*

Basketball Game Of The Year: The one that didn't waste TV time...sorry b-ball fans

Best Basketball Team: Phoenix Suns

Basketball Memorial Award: I'unno

Best Basketball Moment: Dan Majerle's jersye retirement...probly wasn't this year, but oh well

This was a good idea...might as well fire it up and give my answers...and I'll probably add a few things as well :lol:

Baseball Player of the year: Andruw Jones (the heart and soul of the Braves this year...I hate the Braves with a passion, but man, he had a hell of a year and was my choice for MVP in the NL)

Baseball Reg Season Game Of The Year: Phils/Reds in late September...crazy game where the Phils had a big lead, blew it, and came back in the 9th thanks to bombs by Utley and Bell to win it.

Baseball Post Season Game Of The Year: NLDS Game 4 (ATL/HOU)

Baseball Team Of The Year: Chicago White Sox

Baseball Memorial Award: Bob Casey (PA voice of the Twins from their arrival from Washington in 1961 to 2004)

Best Baseball Moment: The White Sox celebrating ending 87 years of frustration.

Pro Football Player Of The Year: Peyton Manning

Pro Football Game Of The Year: Super Bowl XXXIX

Best pro football moment: Yet another Vinatieri GW FG in the Super Bowl.

Pro Football Team Of The Year: Indianapolis Colts

Pro Football Memorial Award: 4 way tie between Reggie White, Sam Mills, Hank Stram, & Wellington Mara

College Football Player Of The Year: Reggie Bush

College Football Game Of The Year: USC/Notre Dame

Best college football moment: Either Reggie Bush's insane run vs. Fresno State or that 80 yard scramble Vince Young of the 'Horns had vs. Okie St.

College Football Team Of The Year: USC Trojans

College Football Memorial Award: Glenn Davis

Hockey Player of the Year: Dany Heatley

Hockey Game of the Year: Caps/Rangers with the insane shootout ended with Malik's EVIL little move to totally stun Olie Kolzig.

Best Hockey Moment: The NHL being back (although if it were about a month later, I'd have to say #11 FINALLY hitting the rafters at MSG)

Hockey Team of the Year: Ottawa Senators

Hockey Memorial Award: John McMullen (former owner of the Devils)

Pro Basketball Player Of The Year: Steve Nash (I could go complete homer here and say Rip Hamilton, but I won't :lol: )

Pro Basketball Game Of The Year: Game 5 of the Finals...FLUFF YOU ROBERT HORRY :cursing:

Best Pro Basketball Team: *sigh* San Antonio Spurs

Pro Basketball Memorial Award: George Mikan

Best Pro Basketball Moment: Reggie Miller saying goodbye to the fans at Conseco...I never liked the guy or his team, but he did it with class and even I had to applaud.

College Basketball Player Of The Year: Dee Brown

College Basketball Game Of The Year: I have 3--Wake Forest/West Virginia, Kentucky/Michigan State, and Illinois/Arizona

Best College Basketball Team: Illinois Fightin' Illini

College Basketball Memorial Award: Tom Brennan (retiring coach at Vermont and a class act all the way...went out in style taking out the 'Cuse in round 1 of the NCAAs before falling to MSU in the 2nd round)

Best College Basketball Moment: Bucknell knocking off Kansas in the 1st round of the NCAAs
