CrookedThumb
One time in the 60's, an NFL team wanted to wear their road unis at home. Unfortunately, the opponent didn't get the message. For the first half of the game, both teams wore their road uniforms. During the second half, the home team switched to the home jersey, but they kept their colored road pants. To my knowledge, that was the first one-color look. Name the team and the opponent. I really wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people know this. yh
I believe it was the Vikings wearing all purple vs. the Lions.
CrookedThumb
Yeah that's it. I didn't think the correct answer would come this quickly. BTW, does anyone know if that was the first one-color look?
vicfurth
I'm sure someone had worn all-whites. ::

CrookedThumb
I just thought you might want to know that I got this info from an NFL Films show on ESPN (so, needless to say I saw some of that game). The all-purple Vikings looked REALLY stupid.
