Thus, the "MOM" on the mound.Coinciding with that was the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Week. Players wore pink ribbons, and MLB is donating $100 for every strikeout this week to breast cancer research. The pink sweatbands went along with the campaign against breast cancer.Hope it makes a little more sense for you now... "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today...
