rainmaker17
I'm looking to buy a graphic tablet and I really don't know what kind to look into, Any recommendations would be appreciated. I'm using a Mac G5 if that helps.
oddball
I was recently part of a discussion on drawing tablets and the conversation began and ended with Wacom. My Graphics teacher who owned her own company, worked in animation for Warner Brothers said that a 4 by 6 Wacom is plenty fine enough especially with a lap top. It made me want to finally load my updated drivers onto my computer and use it again. I have to say that I'm glad I did!
rainmaker17
Thanks oddball. I just went to epinions.com and the reviewers there are drooling all over Wacom products.
2mr41h
Get the Wacom intuos3. It's got the highest sensitivity and most flexibility with software. You'll be tempted by the less-expensive Graphire, but it's worth the extra money for the intuos3. I love mine...it makes working in Illustrator and Photoshop much more natural. Also, fork it out and get the 9x12 version. Again, slightly more expensive, but for realistic drawing, you need it to fit on your lap.
xnylived
wacom is definately the leader, I have a 9x12 tablet and it's great. I bought mine from the wacom store refurbished and saved about $90.00 as well.

Fyrwulf
Wacom is your gold standard for PC tablets. If I knew how to draw worth a damn, I'd splurge for one.
