budpaul
Looking for some C&C on these two versions for a league logo I've been tossing around in my head. I'm fairly satisfied with the shield portion of the design as I wanted to go with something a little more stylized than what some other leagues have (though sometimes when I look at it I see a cross between the NHL logo and the Batman logo - purely unintentional). Otherwise, I'm noncommital to the other aspects. I think I like first X design over the second, but I have used that beveling look on some other stuff recently (for a different league though, so no one would make that connection). Anyway, I'll shut up now and see what you guys think.
zman65
I like the first beveled look a bit better. Concept 2 is fine too, though it conjures up a lot of imagery of skiing instead of football.
budpaul
The shield was bugging me in that there was too much black, then I remembered the Houston Dynamos logo and their starburst for inspiration. How's this:
fonz
Your new ones look much better.
L-Train33
I like the one with the black on faded black background. The shield kind of reminds me of Batman. Like this is the Xtreme Batman Fantasy Football League hehe. Its looks really good though.
budpaul
Another variation - this one with graded color on shield. It really makes the "X" stand out. I think I like this one best.

bigbaldben
Yup, nailed it with the last one, IMO.
ZBoyer
I think the most recent logo is the best of all of the drafts. The starburst isn't too overwhelming and the beveling on the "X" makes it really stand out. Good work.
budpaul
Yeah, since I'm never satisfied, I tweaked it again, this time reversing the fade on the 'burst. I also dropped the red and went with gray (thanks, L-Train). Thoughts?Oh, and thanks to all for taking the time to comment.
RiverStyx
I think I like the previous one (with red, not gray) in the shield best. Nice work!
pollux
While both colors look very good, I lean towards the grey background as the X stands out more.Excellent work! KCScout76
budpaul,IMO - I wouldn't fade (gradiant) the background, on your 2nd post, the logo on the left is very classy. I also think you should take pullox's advice and try a gray background.Very nicely done!!!
