Discrim Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 heh, the first real evidence I saw was the Vero Beach Dodgers becoming the Devil Rays for this season (sadly, meaning one of the great caps in all of baseball, the VB over the grapefruit half, has been retired, never to be seen again). the rumors had been out there for a while, but the VB Dodgers becoming a Rays affiliate (strangely, they're still owned by the Dodgers for now) was the first real indicator the rumors were true.
