Cujo a Flame

So Mike Keenan (Calgary's coach) once traded Cujo as he was entering his prime because he didn't think he was a playoff goalie. I believe he recieved a pick which he recieved his own draft pick back or something like that. One of the worst series of trades in Blues history. (Don't ge me wrong, through what seemed like awful moves and still do, Keenan put together an incredible core, and before he left put together a team that had as good of a chance at the Stanley Cup as any team in recent history--that being in 1996).

I don't get this signing....sure Cujo helps Calgary....gives some good competition for Kiprusoff....but if I'm Cujo I want to have a chance to play more often then I would with Kipper in front of me.....Tampa would have been a great fit for him.....maybe he's happy playing backup role? I know Keenan hasn't been Mr Nice Guy to Kipper but I can't see them trading him obviously....just a weird situation all in all.
